Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Marcel

We loved staying at this lovely cottage for our weekend getaway. The small garden is perfect for hanging out and we appreciated how thoughtful was the interior. We went to Giverny by Uber (15mins ride) and we’re happy we chose Pascale’s place because we enjoyed the calming atmosphere in this quiet part of the city.

The location is perfect, very quiet in a great garden. Gaillon and the castle are just a few minutes' walk away and you can buy fresh vegetables directly from the farm. The hosts are super friendly and happy to provide information about the region.

Highly recommend! A few days treat, especially to visit Monet’s Garden-magical!! Isabelle was kind and helpful yet very discreet unless we needed something. The sole use of pool and garden is a great bonus and private…Isabelle even closed the two window shutters on the house that faced poolside. There was a lap tray on the bed with a ‘welcome gift’ - lovely touch, Thankyou again Isabelle!

Thierry has created a unique experience for guests that is sure to leave a lasting memory. The house has a depth of character and charm that will exceed your imagination, the vast quantity of books and objects is enough to satisfy a weeks worth of housebound curiosity... and we haven't even mentioned the garden yet. Sprawling and wild yet intimate and private all at the same time, this series of garden 'rooms' and pools feature frogs, fish, and beautiful water lilies to rival Monets own. We found our new home rustic, rambling and utterly charming. The location is superb, a short stroll to the charming shops, galleries and attractions. The beds were warm and comfortable and the private garden setting ensured a quiet, restful nights sleep. Thierry himself however was the greatest treasure; we simply could not have felt more welcome. His care and attention surpassed any host experience any of us have enjoyed before and we cannot recommend this stay highly enough.

The studio is functional and properly equipped and its location facing the free parking is a boon. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Close to shops and close to Giverny. Laurent is friendly, responsive and attentive to the reception. Very good place for a few days in the heart of the city.

Lovely apartment. Great location for centre of Rouen. Host was fantastic. Parking car will test your skills - access is tight for anything but a small car.

Flora provided a handy key box for our late arrival. The listing is accurate to the photos and description. We only stayed one night for 4. Go for it!!!

Sam's apartment is very well furnished and functional, close to the train station which is very convenient. Sam is a responsive host, I highly recommend staying in his apartment if you want to discover the area!

Very pleasant stay and accommodation. However, it is unfortunate that we were not informed that the front door of the building, which provides access to the apartment, had been broken into at least a week prior. This was inaccessible because it was blocked from the inside by a huge rubbish bin. As it is a small building, we did not feel safe at night. If the information had been communicated to us beforehand, the surprise would have been less. We understand that this is part of the common areas, but it is the main access to the apartment

The accommodation was perfect for visiting the area, it is close to amenities and nearby towns 😀 Luce is super nice and accommodating. I would recommend it without a second thought. have a great day.

I highly recommend it as a peaceful retreat near Paris! It was such a beautiful place that I regretted not booking it for longer as soon as I arrived. It was a quiet place, but it wasn't difficult to access by car, and I was able to see the wonderful scenery while driving. The restaurant and bakery recommended by the friendly Olivier were also really delicious. Thank you!

Lyon’s la foret was a beautiful place and Patrick and Stephanie’s place is more fantastic than the photos. Morning delights of eggs or from the bakery were a very thoughtful touch too.

Very good stay at Ranim's in Plaisir, our late arrival was accepted by the host :) Very clean and very well-equipped accommodation, we felt very good there with the children! Adorably made baby bed as a bonus 😍

The location was brilliant, the space at Katie was so well thought out and brilliantly equipped and furnished. So many local restaurants, bars, shops a wonderful local food market selling fresh organic foods. so peaceful to walk around late at night, but easy to get to the iconic attractions in Paris. I would definitely book again : )

Functional accommodation decorated and furnished with taste. Fully equipped kitchen with utensils, spices and condiments available. Washing machine with detergent, not used but maybe convenient. Very nice accommodation.
