Relax with the whole family in this serene space. Close to the beach and the forest, and with a path (for walking/cycling) that goes all the way to Vordingborg's beautiful harbour and ruins. Three bedrooms: two with double beds, and one with a single bed and a pull-out bed. Large living room with two sofas, a wood-burning stove and a TV. Large, bright conservatory that can be used in spring and summer. Beautiful enclosed garden with seating, an outdoor fireplace and a greenhouse. In the garden, six hens roam in an enclosure, and the property also includes a very affectionate and sociable long-haired cat.

With a 5-minute walk, you are up in the medieval castle area, which has beautiful ruins, Denmark's Castle Center, Botanical Garden and views of the harbor and the Farø bridges. And it's only a 10-minute walk to a forest.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

Our lovely cottage was erected and built in 2005, as a family project between two brothers and our respective families. New floors, sanitation, beds and more new furniture in spring 2025.
