Enjoy a relaxing holiday in the countryside – in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and surrounded by nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish-Japanese couple, two dogs, two cats, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We care about organic farming and sustainability, and we love growing our own vegetables and herbs in the garden. "Farm to table" Breakfast (Japanese or Danish) can be ordered no later than 4 pm the day before. Breakfast is not included in the price and is paid on site with either MobilePay or cash.

Voted Denmark's Most Beautiful Cottage 2014

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

Birkely Bed & Breakfast is a charming newly renovated guest house of 38 sqm with a nice bathroom. The house is beautifully and cozily decorated with kitchen, dining table, large double bed and armchairs. There is direct access to a private terrace overlooking the field and forest. Our guest house is in a scenic location, close to the forest and only 3.5 km from Præstø Town and the harbor with its restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors. Breakfast is available, which can be ordered upon arrival. Smoking is not allowed on the property.

Well-equipped, modern and lovely cottage. Close to the fjord with good opportunities for paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing. Family-friendly house with a large garden that just invites you to have lots of fun and coziness. Cozy Vordingborg, with the Goose Tower nearby. Beach and nature very close. Our lovely cottage was erected and built in 2005, as a family project between two brothers and our respective families. New floors, sanitation, beds and more new furniture in spring 2025. Cozy cottage located at Ore beach, only 5 min. walk to child-friendly beach with bathing bridge. It is a 10-minute drive to the highway, where you can reach Copenhagen to the north and Rødby harbor to the south in an hour.
