This is not often the kind of place to stay on Airbnb. A more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time journey to a 19th-century Ostrobothnian village. The property is best suited for Lappish nature, history, and quiet, without fear of dark or summer savings in the winter. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Kelorivitalo cottage on Pyhä, good and peaceful location at the end of the road. From the window you can see a small forest, trails and slopes. Hiking trails and services are nearby. The cabin has original charm, with a new beautiful decor. Great kitchen. Sleeps downstairs or on the balcony. The ladder in the loft is steep. The cabin has wifi, a 43’ TV, and a bluetooth connection. The bathroom furniture has been refurbished. The cabin has a good sauna, a washer, and a dryer cabinet. Linens and final cleaning are included.

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. Pyhä Igloos igloo

Our igloos are 32m² in size and can accommodate two to four persons. The motorized double bed is directly under the glass ceiling. Separate extra beds are made from the sofa. All igloos are equipped with a toilet and a shower, a TV, a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing. All rooms have a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, cooking hobs, dinnerware and cutlery, a kettle, a coffee maker, a microwave oven and a dishwasher.

Atmospheric house on the banks of the Kemijoki River

Scenic beaches by the Kemi River, about an hour drive from Rovaniemi, 65km to Kuusamo. Once upon a time, I recommend renting a car. 75 m2 cottage with all amenities, two bedrooms, kitchen-living room, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. Near the cottage there is a beach (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking, hunting and hiking. There's a boat landing place about a mile up the road.
