Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Accommodation as described, very good for two people. The location is peaceful, but it's easy to get around by car. Recommended!😊

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Everything was really good. Easy to find, easy communication and a relaxing environment. Also the sauna was a big plus. We can really recommend staying here :)

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

The accommodation is lovely and spacious, very well stocked and we all loved the sauna too. Lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on 2 of our 4 nights (from the garden, too!). Thanks again 🙂

A very cozy wooden house and perfect for rest. The fireplace works wonderfully and the sauna is great after a snowshoe hike or a sled ride. Both are available at the property. The kitchen is well equipped, there are even numerous basics such as salt, pepper, coffee, noodles, and much more. The house is super insulated, so it was never cold with us. The only thing is that the bathroom is quite small and the path to the shower is a bit far. The location is perfect for watching aurora lights, we were lucky enough to see some on 6 out of 7 days. The communication with Osmo was great, he provided us with a lot of useful information. Would have preferred to have stayed much longer. It was one of the best airbnbs we've ever had.

Really nice place with all the necessary amenities. Parking space available nearby, easy check-in with systematic instructions. The studio was considerably cheaper than hotel rooms, better equipped, more spacious and included everything you needed for cooking and washing clothes. Special points for thinking about small details. The lighting could be adjusted to one's liking, and the blackout curtains made sleeping pleasant even on a nightless night. The electrical outlets placed in connection with the night tables were convenient for charging mobile phones and travel batteries. The value for the space is excellent. We will definitely return if the place happens to be available on future Rovaniemi trips.

Airi was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay in her beautiful apartment (which was conveniently located near the city centre, bus station, train station and supermarket). We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids) - so this place was perfect for us. A big thank you to Airi - we hope to be back again one day (perhaps during the winter season)!

Lovely stay. The place was a perfect location from which to explore. Especially grateful that the curtains wete good because of the Midnight Sun haha.

The accommodation is of course recommended in winter due to its location in the ski resort, but also in summer for outdoor activities. Although it is small, everything necessary is available. Communication with Ilari was straightforward.

kiki's place is about 15mins walk to the city centre (~1km). it was okay for us to walk to and fro daily (had to clock in those steps! 😂). otherwise, the stay was amazinggggg!! her place felt so warm & cozy. there was also a file with instructions and even recommendations on the activities that we can do here! it's also a short walk away from the museum—Arktikum.
