What a completely cozy cottage, there was even a first aid kit. Everything you need was there, from soap pump to coffee filters. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognised objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back to see more of the area.

The apartment is an absolute must and we liked it very much. Everything is brand new, everything has been thought of and it was sparkling clean. Wieke is a good host, she knows how to pamper the guests and was easily accessible for questions (and to check with us if everything was to our liking). Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of bad weather, but the surroundings are beautiful.

We stayed at the cottage for 9 nights with our children aged 4 and 6. The house itself was spacious and neat. Plenty of linen, kitchen supplies, ... blissful garden with a nice covered terrace. The kids loved the chickens and the search for eggs. Perfect base, lots of fun things to do nearby. For parents with young children: Sanjes Safari, Dunes Zathe, City of Leeuwarden (nice miniature walk), Swimming pool the blue golf, Strand Makkum and seal cruise, park Vijversburg, a walk in the Bakkeven dunes, aquazoo, zoo in Drachten, quiet cycling, we picked flowers in the tea shop a little further... We enjoyed our stay!
