Beachfront holiday rental in Ryfylke

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

Cozy house. We spent two nights with our 2.5 year old daughter. We visited the sheep who lived longer out on Øyen. The small library was very popular. The kitchen was well equipped, with several waffles!

Amazing experience! We stayed in the cabin for 2 days but I’d easily spend in the house a week or two. Perfect location right next to the water with mountains around. 3 isolated bedrooms, nice wooden stove, 100% equipped kitchen, even the dishes are super beautiful Absolutely worth all the good reviews, thank you!

It's like a balm for the soul to visit the Tinghuset in Dimmelsvik. We would gladly came back:)

Felt like home, clean, cosy and well maintained. We had a fantastic time in the nearby ski station. We will come back!

Unfortunately, we caught a rainy week in Norway. We still went hiking, golfing and fishing, but also in the accommodation for many hours and enjoyed the surf from the living room through the beautiful window front. It's really indescribable.

In the beautiful cottage of Anders you can spend wonderful days in any weather. A great view of the lake, a small boat, a quiet neighborhood, a well-equipped kitchen - it's just everything your heart desires.

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

Villa med panoramautsikt is a very beautiful spacious retreat nestled in the hills of Fusa Commune. We travelled by car easily from Bergen via a short ferry. The house is well equipped for winter and summer with sauna, swimming pool, barbecue area & lots of space inside & out to relax. The area has very beautiful walks & we were lucky to find a small local shop open on a Saturday- Eikhaugen Gjestegard - for delicious cinnamon buns & coffee and some great food gifts! Jorunn was very helpful with information before we arrived, very welcoming & the house was clean & very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

We spent 2 days in this great lake house on peaceful and beautiful Spissøy. Lovely view and lovely with terrace where we enjoyed morning coffee. Well-equipped kitchen. Very quick responses from the host if we had any questions. Great stay 🙂👍

We used the space for a short boyfriend trip with the husband and had an overnight stay there. Simple standard in beautiful surroundings, we lacked nothing. The sound of the sea, ripple of waves - were magical experiences. We have bought sushi and all the snacks we needed so there was no need to drive out in any places. Then we used the afternoon to walk to the gorgeous Sandvesand. We were lucky to be and brought with us absolutely magical sunset, but I expect that it is at least as great there when it is windy and nature shows its powers. We are definitely going back with flee friends, because there are several small cabins that are next door that can be rented. About the fire pit in the place - we could sit outside even longer.

The accommodation is quiet and beautifully located on an island, which is reached via a pier. The associated gazebo invites you to magnificent sunsets with views of the fjord. Frode is a very friendly host and always available!

Wonderful location, breath taking view on the fjord and surrounding hills. Host are friendly and helpful and close by if you need them yet everyone enjoys their privacy. Nice, modern spacious home. Well equipped kitchen, small amenities provided. We got some help on finding hiking trails could rent the hosts boat. Excellent wifi to work remotely. Could not have asked for anything more. Excellent

Rosemary operates Airbnb for selfless, loving reasons, not money. It's like volunteering. She was considerate of us throughout our stay, and let even stay more for us after hikes. She was so thoughtful that she said vacationers didn't need to do the dishes because she didn't want to make people use energy while doing dishes. The room was comfortable, and the plates were especially adorable. There aren't many condiments, but she would gladly lend you what you needed. The bathroom is lovely. It's not in the same building, but It doesn't bother you at all because it's close. The house and garden are lovely. Frankly, it was my dream home. I'm sad I couldn't swim in the lake with cute dog, Daisy. If you have a seat, make a reservation. you're the lucky one.

Perfect place close to the speedboat. Possibility to rent a boat. 4 double rooms on the 2nd floor. One in the basement with a private bathroom. Gold clean. Well-equipped. Service-minded hosting.

We were really well received and immediately felt at home. Great location right down to the Lysefjord. Great recommendations for hiking in the area, which offers much more than the Prejkestolen. All the way excellent and friendly communication.
