The guesthouse is for two people with 160 cm bed, parking space just outside the door, wireless internet, smart TV, kitchen with hot plates, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and all fixtures (pots, plates, glasses etc). Bathroom with shower and toilet inside the guesthouse. Underfloor heating in bathrooms. Wall-mounted panel oven in main room. Selhammar Tun - Annex Nedstrand

Welcome to our retreat, a place to watch the world go past or a base to enjoy the neighbourhood. Located above a small charismatic beach among the woods and hills of Hinderåvåg. Selhammar is a location that is relatively isolated and accessible down a farm track that wanders about 1 km from the public road system. Explore a choice of forest, beaches and mountains just outside your doorstep. The homestead is slowly being restored from abandonment and basic organic principles are practised.

Mountain cabin in Trodla-Tysdal after 3 hours hike

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

From this cozy guest house in the wooden house town of Våland you have only 10 min walking distance to Stavanger city centre with theatre, museums, cafe life and shopping, as well as boat, train and bus connections to great hiking areas. The guesthouse is located in our garden, close to the main house. The house is 19m2 with a sofa that sleeps two people. The house also has a kitchen, bathroom and a small loft (not for sleeping).
