The Showman’s Wagon is exactly as described, it is an exceptional property that has been renovated to a very high spec, it has all the home comforts you could possibly need. The welcome gifts of biscuits and prosecco were gratefully enjoyed!! The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and private. This was exactly what we needed and we will definitely return!! It’s all been said before but… it was beautifully presented (top quality fittings, furniture etc), everything thought through for convenience and leisure… it’s like walking through the door to a warm hug! Also the bathroom is luxurious - have stayed in a few nice hotels but never had a roll-top bath ‘experience’ as good as here! The little outdoor area is an absolute haven and looks onto beautiful rolling fields (view that can also be enjoyed from the sofa if it’s drizzly). We were visiting family but I would have been happy to have spent a more time at the property relaxing with a good book etc. Can’t recommend highly enough - Joanna works very hard, but makes it look easy by being so relaxed and welcoming in her manner.

This is a spacious and charming annexe to a beautiful property, set in peaceful and extensive grounds, yet only a few minutes from Rye. It is immaculate and very comfortable . Everything you need is provided and the unexpected extras such as bread, butter, milk,tea, fruit and biscuits were really welcome after a long journey. The annexe has its own enclosed outside area where you can relax outside and look at the lovely garden . Brenda is a very kind and friendly host ,who was happy to let us wander the grounds to exercise our dog in the field and her dog Peppi often joined us. It is dog heaven and dog secure . We loved our stay here !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mr Catt’s house! The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has everything you could need. There was also very easy parking and check in. Ruth was a really friendly and responsive host who was very helpful. I am really glad we chose this property and would love to come again!
