Holiday rentals with a hot tub in River Tamar

We had the most wonderful stay at the Little Barn! The surroundings are beyond beautiful and the location is very peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed lots of time soaking up the countryside in the lovely outdoor area (lots of visits from the little cats saying hello too!). The inside was small but extremely well thought out so never felt cramped and there was plenty of space for the two of us. It was well located for everything we needed from trips to the coast, exploring the national park and visiting the quaint little towns and villages nearby. Overall we had a brilliant stay, thank you Fran, the Little Barn is an absolute gem!

Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . We had the most amazing stay here. Where do I start! Deborah greeted us on arrival and showed us around, putting us at ease right away. We were blown away by how well presented, clean and homely the house was. But what we loved the most was the beautiful garden with outdoor seating, the bbq which we used every night and the hot tub which was a firm favourite! Especially with my young boys, who spent hours in there! We absolutely loved our stay and looked forward to returning from days out to the beach to relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. We would highly recommend Deborah’s place to anyone looking for high quality, cosy and serene accommodation. Deborah was the perfect host, she is so friendly and respectful and always responded to messages quickly. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay!

Great host who provided lots of local knowledge. The property was amazing with great views and very relaxing. Just what we needed.

We loved it. Plent of sitting space in the basement. Beautiful kit hen with plenty of gadgets. Bedrooms comfortable with added bonus of bath robes in double bedrooms. Ground floor pool table was popular with grandchildren.

Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. I write on a personal note as well (to show how amazing the hosts were). The night after we arrived my parents’ dog, Mollie went missing. Kaye and Lindsey pulled out all the stops to help search for her. Sadly the day before we left, the dog was found but it wasn’t a good outcome. But they’d joined in the search intensely all week, organising local people to come help, a farmer to help with cutting back vegetation, searching at various hours of the day in an effort to find Mollie. They really were brilliant.

Lovely few days away in a small complex of lodges, staff on site very approachable and a very short distance to the lake. The cafe and restaurant didn’t seem that inviting and very quiet for Easter but that’s no reflection on Roz place. We enjoyed the hot tub unfortunately we weren’t able to use the outside lounging area due to weather being mixed. We enjoyed travelling to Bude (beautiful place) and we enjoy going to strawberry fields farm and coffee shop. The site is very peaceful and the lodges are set out so everyone is well spaced out and Roz has a lovely position overlooking the field (no animals currently). My husband used the gym once which was handy. Thanks for a nice few days

We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

one of the best and most peaceful places we have ever stayed! lovely location, beautiful garden, privacy and a great hotub! kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner and the lodge itself is beautiful. we had a great time and even with some heavy rain it was great. don't expect to be connected to the outside world as phone and Internet is almost non-existent, but that is what is so relaxing about this place! Lovely location with beautiful views. Secure garden to allow dogs to run around freely, which mine loved. It was my first trip away with both of my dogs and I was a bit worried about it, but it was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming to dogs as well which made me feel more at ease. Hot tub was great. Lots of different areas in the garden to relax.

Fantastic 2 nights. Peaceful and secluded and beautiful surroundings. Hot tub is excellent, spent lovely evening looking at the stars around the firepit. Felt like we were the only people there. Perfect getaway. Becky the host was very friendly, with easy to follow directions to the farm. Would love to stay again.

I dont think the photos do it justice with how nice this place was! There were so many finishing touches that made it feel like a spa retreat more than just a place to stay. The instructions on getting there were spot on and the host was so friendly and welcoming. We could have happily stayed for a month, shame we only had a weekend free 😊

Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of amazing. The space was cozy, clean, and had a lot of attractions—perfect for a peaceful getaway. This was such a wonderful place to stay. A beautiful wooden lodge with plenty of space, comfortable furnishings and spectacular verandas. It’s in a beautiful mature garden setting which is idyllic in every way. Private and peaceful yet with easy access to so many walking routes, gorgeous beaches, great cafes and pubs. We only took the car out on one day, everything else we did on foot. The pool and jacuzzi were a welcome bonus too.

Fantastic stay, very peaceful and rested, cought a few fish too and the hot tub was super thank you, will book again.
