peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings, the barn is squeaky clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Silvana has thought of it all and made it really easy to enjoy. Its a great area of the world close to beautiful coastline and hiking paths. We at the Cuckmere Inn which I'd recommend as well as a visit to Rathfinny vineyard and Beak brewery.

Larissa was really accommodating and had great communication in the lead up to our stay. The barn and surrounding area were lovely. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was great! Very comfortable bed and a great night sleep, despite the heatwave temperatures which were outside of anyone’s control! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in or around the area.

So lovely was The Piggery we didn’t want to leave! In a beautiful rural setting this cute cottage had everything we needed for a week’s holiday exploring East Sussex, we were so comfortable and our little dog loved the garden.

Peaceful Countryside Retreat with Sea Views – A Perfect Stayaway ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at the Entire Granary Barn Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful countryside setting and the distant sea views – absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The cottage itself is spacious, well-kept, and full of character. The large living area was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and both bedrooms were comfortable, with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. Having our own garden space was a real bonus – ideal for enjoying breakfast outdoors or just soaking up the calm surroundings. The private parking space made everything even more convenient. This is a perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy nature, or explore the local area. It felt secluded yet was still within easy reach of coastal walks and nearby villages. Highly recommended – we’d love to return!

We are so glad we found this absolute Gem ! It was perfect for our weekend of calm with our pooch Louie . As well as a fantastic welcome from Viv we were greeted by both of her gorgeous dogs and a choir of happy birds. On the first morning , whilst contemplating the feast that Viv had modestly called breakfast provisions we saw lots of rabbits roaming right in front of the Cabin. Lots of lovely walks nearby and we had a fabulous Sunday roast at the Six Bells - a five minute drive away . A genuine getaway from it all - perfect

Diana's place was perfect for our trip for a local wedding. It had everything we needed and is in beautiful surroundings. Diana was friendly, accomodating and also flexible with check-in/out.

The Cow Shed was perfect! Spotlessly clean, private and beautiful location, immaculate attention to detail, helpful welcome pack, spare toiletries and beautiful breakfast selection. I will 100% be back and would highly recommend. Alice was so welcoming and friendly and Baxter the dog is the cutest, goodest boy! Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

This is a fabulous Airbnb, clean, comfortable and stylishly done. The pool area is beautiful and I have my eye on the cabana for a future stay. We loved the private courtyard and the friendly duck...the hot tub was a bonus. We didn’t have a car so looked for a place with a train station close by…this is just a 10 minute taxi ride from the local station so ideal for us. It has a calm, peaceful vibe but just a few mins walk to the local pub. Great for me and my daughter but would be brilliant for groups if you rent out the other cottages. Sarah was really responsive and proactive. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Really beautiful spot, gorgeously decorated and in a wonderful setting - loved having the sheep and cows right outside the windows! Charlotte was so helpful even providing a high chair that we needed and sending some recommendations. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking in and the beds were super comfy with lovely linens. The perfect spot to explore from.

Absolutely stunning property with fantastic views. The hot tub was such a rare treat. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone. Our host Katie was extremely good with communications and provided very clear instructions. 10/10

We had a wonderful stay & were made to feel welcome & comfortable. Bread, milk, granola & marmalade were lovely touches. Lovely furnishes, kitchen & bathroom. Our 2 dogs were very welcome aswell, stunning walks as soon as you open the stable style door, fantastic scenery & farm land. We visited the Rose & Crown twice for yummy food with excellent service & dog friendly. For us this was the perfect stay, thank you xx

We had a fantastic stay! The Barnyard was modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — everything was spotless and thoughtfully designed. The shower was especially amazing, definitely one of the best I’ve used. The host, Tony, was friendly, helpful, and very informative, always happy to answer any questions we had. It really made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

My family and I had a delightful stay. Joanna was the warmest host and we loved our long weekend in the beautiful barn conversion, complete with log burner fire, comfortable amenities and all set in very beautiful rural surroundings. The perfect get away for us and our young children. Thank you Joanna!

We stayed at Gabrielle's converted barn a few weeks ago and in a word... amazing. The venue was immaculate and perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the cottage and utilised the field one of the evenings. Gabrielle's husband (never got his name!) was helpful and gave directions to some places in the locality as well as being very happy to show us the field connecting to the garden. A small mention of their kids who were fantastically mannered! If there was one complaint... it would be that this venue is undersold! The green space and reservoirs are beautiful. It's truly a gem and we will be hoping to stay again soon!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cuckoo Barn. Roz was very welcoming and the cottage was lovely and comfortable, very clean and had all the necessities we needed. The view and location were great with a lovely walk very close by. Especially liked the log burner and the very comfy bed. We hope to return and highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at Sara’s place and felt right at home from the minute we arrived. It was a great location for short distance driving to Knockhatch Adventure Park and also to get into Hastings for the day. The attention to detail in The Stables was just lovely - everything has been carefully thought about and parking right outside too. The beds were super comfy and we wish we could’ve have stayed longer. Sara and Simon were great hosts - we couldn’t recommend highly enough!!

Gorgeous cottage with lovely grounds. Great that both bedrooms have both king beds and en-suites makes all the difference. The hosts had given a really great welcome with apple juice, butter, milk, bread, eggs on arrival - such a lovely touch! The cottage really did have everything you needed.

Very clean and tidy house, well organised with lots of information and suggestions from the owner. Beautiful windows on every side of the house overlooking the garden and the nature around. We would definitely come back. P.S. Loved Lynda’s lemon cake! :)

Fantastic place to stay and we’d definitely stay here again. Very clean and well stocked with amenities. The barn is on a farm which itself is lovely. Sheep and horses very friendly, as was Andrew :-).

Nestled in the South Downs, a few miles north of Brighton, in a quintessential English village, We found The Granary, here to spend some time with our adult children and grandchildren. The house is absolutely gorgeous, the kitchen is huge and well equipped, but the star is the lounge, high ceilings with oak beams. But the house is only part of the story, stroll around the beautiful, extensive grounds you will feel like lord and lady of the manor!

Our second stay at Victoria’s was just as comfortable as last time - a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and good bathrooms. It is also ideal for anyone with mobility issues given the spacious layout all on one floor. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow much time in the garden, but that can’t be helped! A nearby Morrisons is handy for basic shopping, with a large Lidl not far away. 30 mins by car to Glyndebourne. We would certainly recommend the Barn and hope to return ourselves again in future. Oh yes, and we enjoyed the welcome cake!
