On the way down to a nice swimming area you can see and explore Southwest Norway's largest concentration of rock carving fields. Sheep and lamb can be experienced from close proximity. Åmøy is also a good starting point if you want to visit famous places such as Utstein Kloster, Prekestolen, Sola beaches, Ørnhaug visiting farm or Kongeparken.

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. It is situated close to beautiful beaches, family-friendly activities such as swimming, beach volleyball, fishing, and not least fantastic hiking opportunities in the fields and mountains. We have kayaks that can be borrowed for free. Hammock and fire pit. It is close to public transportation and a store. The climbing park "Høyt og lavt" is a 5 min drive by car or bus. Charter trips with 44 foot yacht to, for example, Lysefjorden with Pulpit Rock can be arranged.

Gamlahuset by the sea - close to Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" fra cirka 1880 leies ut. Huset ligger på et lite gårdstun i Gardsvågen på Talgje, 100 meter fra sjøen. Her er det badestrand, og det går turløyper rundt nesten hele øya. Fra Gardsvågen er det 1 km til hurtigbåtkai. Herfra er det 20-50 min med hurtigbåt til Stavanger. Det er 35 minutt med bil til Stavanger sentrum. På Talgje er det også muligheter for frisbeegolf og badstuutleige (Anker Gaard) og det er sandvolleyballbane 1 km fra huset.

It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
