PS: The farm has no animals, but a nice golden retriever roams freely around. If you are afraid of dogs, another residence is recommended. Rented to persons over 25 years – children with adults are welcome.

Gamlahuset by the sea - near Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

The cabin has a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove. A staircase leads up to the second floor, where there is a sleeping area with a double bed, an office space, and a wardrobe area with a single bed. New bathroom with hot water. In the garden, there is a private sauna with a panoramic view of the fjord. In addition, there is a cosy separate annex with a double bed.

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

Great and small summer cottage with closed winter garden, almost at the edge of the lake at Sokn Camping. Lovely view over the fjord, 180 degrees. The cabin was completed in 2022. Here you will find a large jumping pad, football pitch, volleyball court, playground equipment, kiosk and restaurant with all rights. Only a short drive of 15-20 min to Stavanger and 50 min to Kongeparken. 55 minutes to Pulpit Rock parking. Guests can rent canoes and kayaks at the campsite. Campsite quiet hours: 11 pm - 7 am

At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.
