Get that touch of British history while relaxing in this bright and spacious apartment. Play a few tunes on the piano or take a break on the welcoming sofa. Then cook something delicious and invite a few people over for a traditional English meal or relax in the garden with a coffee The apartment sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms. The main bedroom is a lovely and bright twin aspect room with a super kingsize double bed. The other bedroom has a single bed with a pull out single bed to sit alongside. This bedroom can be perfectly adapted for children if required. Both rooms have plenty of storage. All linen for beds is provided. The family bathroom has a bath with over bath shower mixer. Luxury towels are provided. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD music system and a dining table and chairs to seat 6 people. The kitchen area is well stocked with everything you could need including microwave, washing machine and dryer, stove-top hob and double oven. The apartment is very well laid out and set over the first floor it has its own private entrance and free parking within the private gated grounds of the main house. The annex is modernly equipped with WiFi and TV with Sky Cable Television & DVD player. Wifi is available free of charge if you bring your laptop. Bowling Green House has an interesting history and William Pitt a former British Prime Minister lived in the house and died there in 1806. The current art deco house was built on the site of the original building in 1933. Bowling Green House is in a great location in Zone 2, just 5 minutes from the bus routes to central London, Wimbledon Village or Putney where the train or the tube will whisk you into central London in 15 minutes. It is not only ideally located for Wimbledon tennis and the shops and boutiques, bars and restaurants of Putney and Wimbledon but also provides an ideal location to walk, run or explore the surrounding green areas of Wimbledon Common and Royal Richmond Park where the many activities include cycling, running and horse riding. Alternatively you can travel by river taxi going East to the Houses of Parliament & Tower Bridge or West to Hampton Court Palace. If you have a car or you wish to rent a car there is free parking and Bowling Green House provides easy access to the A3 and M25 and of course central London. On site you will receive a welcome pack with our tips on where to go to eat and drink, transportation links, and local gems. Experience a place of calm and tranquillity surrounded by Wimbledon Common, with the benefit of being only minutes away from busy and stylish Putney and Wimbledon. Every amenity is close by, and central London is only a quick train or tube ride away. Bowling Green House is in a great location in Zone 2, just 5 minutes from the bus routes to central London, Wimbledon Village or Putney where the train or the tube will whisk you into central London in 15 minutes. If you have a car or you wish to rent a car there is free private parking and Bowling Green House provides easy access to the A3 and M25 and of course central London. We would be happy to arrange a cab from Heathrow or Gatwick to Bowling Green House for you. Cost to be confirmed before booking. Guests must sign rental agreements prior to check-in. Terms of the contract will be messaged to the guest prior to booking. We suggest, if you can, for free Wi-fi access to bring your laptop. This place has a style all its own. 2 bedroom flat with a superb location! Just a minute away from Southfields Tube station (20mins to Victoria Station), 8 to 10 min walk from Wimbledon Park and Wimbledon tennis courts and 10mins to Wimbledon.
