Family-friendly holiday rentals in Puerto del Carmen

We booked for a 5 night stay in March, just myself and husband. The villa is beautiful and obviously large enough for a bigger party. It is very spacious, spotlessly clean and completely private, sitting in its own large grounds. The patio areas had numerous comfy chairs in different areas and plenty of sun loungers. We used the pool every day. In terms of location, for us it was perfect as we would rather have peace and quiet and privacy rather than being in the middle of a town. It was only a short drive to either Puerto del Carman one way or Puerto Calero the other. This was our first time in Lanzarote so there was plenty for us to explore. We visited all of the architect/artist Cesar Manrique’s locations and these, along with the villa, were the highlights of our holiday. As others have noted, the track leading to the villa is bumpy but nothing that our hire car couldn’t handle. Note that there is a road mirror when leaving the track and turning right.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Eugenia ! Tout est impeccable et conforme à la description. Le bungalow est très bien équipé, comme si nous étions à la maison !! Il y a une alarme donc très bien sécurisé. Nous étions là avec notre bébé de 6 mois, Eugenia nous avait fourni tout le nécessaire (lit bébé, draps, baignoire), parfait pour un séjour en famille avec un bébé. Il y a même les équipements pour la plage : parasols, chaise, jeux de plage pour les enfants, glacière, pain de glace. Le jacuzzi et la piscine sont tellement agréables après des journées de visites ! L'environnement était calme et le parking pour se garer est très proche du bungalow. Il est bien situé car très proche de Playa Blanca (à 5 min en voiture) Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrions avec plaisir ! Merci Eugenia !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la villa Canela. Celle-ci est très confortable et fidèle à l’annonce. Je la recommande ++. Juste une petite remarque pour améliorer encore plus la qualité de ce logement : la maison est faite pour 12 personnes. Or, à l’intérieur, la table est pour 8 personnes. Le dernier soir, il faisait frais et il a plu. Nous n’avons donc pas pu manger à l’extérieur. Nous nous sommes rabattus à l’intérieur mais n’avons malheureusement pas pu tous manger ensemble ce qui est dommage. C’est néanmoins le seul petit point négatif que j’ai trouvé à cette location qui est exceptionnelle.

Casa Lola is a tranquil private place in the middle of the island. Car hire is recommended however local taxi services can get you into Puerto Del Carmen if you want some bars/ restaurants. The villa itself is clean and has plenty of kitchen appliances as well as well as a noticeably clean oven! Jose, was responsive when we needed assistance. Including recommendations for taxi firms. As others have mentioned the wifi/ data connections are low speed. Never had any problems using the supplied Netflix or when using the “garden” WiFi but did have issues when connected in the lounge. Overall would stay here again. Both me and the wife had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the peace

Karen's property was as listed if not better. Very organised, clean and well maintained with fantastic views and within walking distance of bars and restaurants. All communication was helpful and friendly, you can tell Karen really cares about her guest experiences. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures and the super king bed in the upstairs master suite was incredibly comfortable. Thanks Karen for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back one day!

We hebben hier als gezin met een dochter van 2jaar oud 14 dagen verbleven. De villa is perfect en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Ze komen langs om handdoeken en beddengoed te verschonen als je dit wenst. Alles klopte perfect met de beschrijving en we hebben het enorm naar ons zin gehad. Het is aan te raden om een huurauto te nemen zodat je gemakkelijk naar de grotere winkel kan. Op 5-10 min afstand is er wel een supermarkt waar je ook de nodige dingen kan terugvinden. Bij aankomst stond er wijn klaar en andere dingen wat zeer leuk was. Gemakkelijk om te vinden en om je in te checken met de sleutel box. Volledig privé. Geen lawaai geen overlast en heerlijk weer. Hopelijk tot snel

Unser drittes Jahr in der Casa Tara spricht für sich :) Wir lieben das schöne Haus für seine Größe & Ausstattung, den Fußweg in die Stadt mit allem, was man auch für längere Zeit zum Leben braucht – Fitnessstudio, tolle Restaurants, die Wanderroute nach Puerto Calero – die Liste ist lang. Mara und alle, die mit dem Haus in Verbindung stehen, sind so nett und immer erreichbar – bessere Voraussetzungen für eine Workation kann man sich nicht wünschen. Wir kommen wieder ;) Danke Mara und Team für eine so schöne Zeit!

This villa is truly stunning. It was the perfect size for our two families of four, we absolutely loved spending time in the house and pool, plus it is in a brilliant location within easy walking distance of Playa Blanca as well as several family-friendly activities. Buenavilla Vacation Rental were extremely attentive and helpful both in the run up to our stay, and for the duration of the stay itself. We had a wonderful holiday and made many precious memories. Peaceful relaxing location. Spacious accommodation getting sun most of the day. Close to shops public transport and restaurants so car not essential to stay there. Nice bedrooms and shower rooms. Kitchen well equipped. This is a really nice place to stay!

Alojamiento muy recomendable. Ubicado en una zona tranquila, lo que buscábamos; pero cercana a lugares como Famara, Teguise y el Timanfaya. La casa es una maravilla para quienes viajen en pareja, cuenta con una zona para aparcar el coche sin problemas, piscina privada, vistas al mar desde la terraza... y el anfitrión se mostró atento desde nuestro aterrizaje a Lanzarote.

Lucia's apartment is clean and cozy, with a small patio (we just loved having breakfast here and sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine). It is located on a quiet street, so nothing interferes with sleeping/resting. A little far from the beach, but if you have a car, this is not a problem. The hostess Lucia was very attentive and hospitable. We liked everything and had a wonderful rest. We will be happy to come back!

Great little place in a great location. Hector was always very responsive and kind, and helped with everything we needed. If there's one 'complaint' it's that the bedroom doesn't really have actual blinds, so a lot of light gets in, especially at sunrise. Other than that, very cosy stay!

La estancia en el alojamiento de Pepa y Roland ha resultado plenamente satisfactoria. Desde el primer momento en que reservamos, muchos meses atrás, han estado en permanente contacto y nos han recibido con máxima cordialidad. La casa está situada con vistas frontales al mar y a la espalda de un Volcán, mejor ubicación imposible. La isla se recorre con facilidad desde aquí y además cuenta con la ventaja, para nosotros muy importante, de estar al margen del bullicio turístico de las playas y complejos hoteleros. Por el contrario está a un paso del Timanfaya, de la Geria, de playas y rincones costeros fantásticos, así como de poblaciones como Yaiza, Teguise o Haría. En resumen, un lujo a nuestro alcance que hemos disfrutado aún más por la cordialidad y amabilidad que en todo momento hemos tenido por parte de los anfitriones. Una estancia de 5 estrellas. ¡Mil gracias a Roland y Pepa!

Marta’s apartment was incredible, in a quiet area just a 5 minute walk to beach, restaurants and shops. It was so peaceful for a well needed break. Apartment in a beautiful area, our first time staying in Matagorda and it wont be our last!! Marta was so helpful, recommending places to go and always responded quickly to any Q’s I had before arriving. Bed is extremely comfy 🫶🏼 apartment was spotless, pool area clean too and sunbed also comfy. We cant wait to come back ♥️♥️♥️

We had a lovely 5 days in Lanzarote, it was a great location, we loved seeing the planes come and go from the airport and this was not a problem at all for us, the closeness to the beach and lovely restaurants was great too, it’s a very quiet and private neighbourhood and even as 3 women with one child we felt very safe walking around and exploring, will def be back to enjoy this place hopefully next year.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche kleine Wohnung mit großem eigenen Garten. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, es fehlt wirklich an Nichts. Die Lage ist ideal, weil der Ort sehr zentral liegt und man somit schnell an alle sehenswerten Ziele gelangt. Claire ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, die sehr schnell auf Anfragen reagiert hat und immer hilfsbereit war. Außerdem hat sie uns tolle Tipps für Restaurants etc. gegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

This place was absolutely perfect for us. The location was ideal with it being a 5 min drive from the airport and also within walking distance of Arrecife and Playa Honda, though we would recommend hiring a car to get to shops, etc. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed but the garden and pool area was the highlight for us, it was stunning. It felt very private and got the sun all day. There was also a very friendly local cat who spent the entire week with us! Communication with Nelly and Ventura was great and they provided us with lots of information about things to do and see on the island which we appreciated. We will absolutely be back here, thank you Nelly and Ventura for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Lanzarote!

We had a lovely relaxing time staying in Villa Kenia. It was spotless and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The house is in a safe, quiet area, with 2 supermarkets and a beautiful Indian restaurant around the corner. The walk to the marina was along the sea and just beautiful. The marina is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Lastly Eva was a great host, with great communication.

An amazing house, beautifully furnished with fabulous swimming pool and outdoor space. It was like staying in our own private Parador. We felt very privileged to have stayed here. Susana was an excellent host and very responsive.

Great stay in a top villa. Traveled with our 3 young children who all had a blast. Villa is very spacious, has everything you need, with lovely mountain/sea view from the terrace. Sam a great host and very responsive. We hired a car to make the trips to Lidl and old town a little handier, to see a little of the island, and on return there was parking always available right beside the villa. Glad we hired a car but you could easily walk to everywhere if your kids are maybe touching adolescent stage. Walk to the beach and main strip is 10-15 mins. Will be recommending to others and hope to go back. 👍🏻

We have just ret We have just returned from our trip to Villa Maria Cecilia and we did not want it to end! There were 5 adults and 1 toddler and we all had a brilliant time. Johanna is such a wonderful host, and was always quick to respond to any questions. She gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and activities to try during our stay, and they were great! The house has excellent amenities, and we did not want for anything. My 2 year old daughter especially loved all the toys! The house itself is beautiful, and we spent most days by, and in, the pool. The gentleman who cleaned the pool and outdoor area every morning did an excellent job and it was spotless when we woke up each morning. The house's location is perfect and everywhere is Puerto del Carmen is walkable. We cannot wait to return again in the near future.

superbe Villa, à proximité des plus belles plages de Playa Blanca, accessible à pied de la Villa. mais aussi, restaurant, Bar à tapas accessible à pied en qq min. Villa propre, idéal pour une famille, possède deux salles de bain, un dressing dans la chambre familiale. possibilité de se garer devant la Villa, parking gratuit. supérette à 3 min à pied tout était parfait. From the time of booking Pedro was very responsive to any enquiries or issues we raised. This continued throughout our stay. On a Friday evening there was an external issue with power supply and Pedro very quickly contacted the power company who resolved the issue very promptly. Excellent service. Cleaners who came in mid week were very speedy and efficient and did an excellent job. We would Certainly return to Pedro’s villa. We had an excellent, relaxing holiday.

Beautiful villa, all amenities you could need and more!! Clean, comfortable, spacious and peaceful. Lovely outside area with pool plenty of sunshine all day long. Isabel was the best host, she was super responsive and very attentive and helpful. Perfect for a family holiday. Highly recommended indeed.
