Family-friendly holiday rentals in Puerto del Carmen

We booked for a 5 night stay in March, just myself and husband. The villa is beautiful and obviously large enough for a bigger party. It is very spacious, spotlessly clean and completely private, sitting in its own large grounds. The patio areas had numerous comfy chairs in different areas and plenty of sun loungers. We used the pool every day. In terms of location, for us it was perfect as we would rather have peace and quiet and privacy rather than being in the middle of a town. It was only a short drive to either Puerto del Carman one way or Puerto Calero the other. This was our first time in Lanzarote so there was plenty for us to explore. We visited all of the architect/artist Cesar Manrique’s locations and these, along with the villa, were the highlights of our holiday. As others have noted, the track leading to the villa is bumpy but nothing that our hire car couldn’t handle. Note that there is a road mirror when leaving the track and turning right.

We had a great time at Eugenia's place! Everything is spotless and as described. The bungalow is very well equipped, as if we were home!! There is an alarm so very well secured. We were there with our 6-month-old baby, Eugenia had provided us with everything we needed (crib, sheets, bathtub), perfect for a family stay with a baby. There are even beach amenities: umbrellas, chair, children's beach games, cooler, icebread. The hot tub and pool are so nice after days of sightseeing! The environment was quiet and the parking for parking is very close to the bungalow. It is well located because very close to Playa Blanca (5 min drive) We would highly recommend and would love to come back! Thanks Eugenia!

We stayed for a week at the end of October. Everything as expected and a really nice place with lots of room. Great entertainment with pool table and table tennis. The pool was initially very cold and we thought it was supposed to be heated, but after informing Arantxa a man arrived later that day and whatever he did gave us a warmer pool the following day. We should have messaged sooner. All in all a very good stay and would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Lola. The villa was pristine, incredibly spacious, and well-equipped. The pool was excellent, and the BBQ area made for some great outdoor dining. The location, surrounded by stunning mountains, added to the peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Karen's property was as listed if not better. Very organised, clean and well maintained with fantastic views and within walking distance of bars and restaurants. All communication was helpful and friendly, you can tell Karen really cares about her guest experiences. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures and the super king bed in the upstairs master suite was incredibly comfortable. Thanks Karen for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back one day!

Our third year in Casa Tara speaks for itself :) We love the beautiful house for its size & amenities, the walk to the city with everything you need to live for a longer time – gym, great restaurants, the hiking route to Puerto Calero – the list is long. Mara and everyone associated with the house are so nice and always available – you couldn't ask for better conditions for a workation. We will be back ;) Thanks Mara and team for such a good time!

This villa is truly stunning. It was the perfect size for our two families of four, we absolutely loved spending time in the house and pool, plus it is in a brilliant location within easy walking distance of Playa Blanca as well as several family-friendly activities. Buenavilla Vacation Rental were extremely attentive and helpful both in the run up to our stay, and for the duration of the stay itself. We had a wonderful holiday and made many precious memories. Peaceful relaxing location. Spacious accommodation getting sun most of the day. Close to shops public transport and restaurants so car not essential to stay there. Nice bedrooms and shower rooms. Kitchen well equipped. This is a really nice place to stay!

Simply amazing! Best place to stay if you want to visit the island! I felt like I was at home! I hope to come back soon

Lucia's apartment is clean and cozy, with a small patio (we just loved having breakfast here and sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine). It is located on a quiet street, so nothing interferes with sleeping/resting. A little far from the beach, but if you have a car, this is not a problem. The hostess Lucia was very attentive and hospitable. We liked everything and had a wonderful rest. We will be happy to come back!

La Casita de La Asomada is a past, it is worth enjoying and its surroundings. Pepa and Ronald have been very friendly and helpful. Thank you. All the best, their adorable hostas.

We loved Marta’s apartment which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were especially impressed by how friendly her neighbours were; always ready for a chat and recommending restaurants, etc, Matagorda was an ideal location for us; a great variety of restaurants nearby, beautiful beaches, easy walking to Carmen and bus stops.

We had a Great stay! We found the place easily and got ourselves inside with no problems. Antonija was friendly and responsive with anything I asked for. The pool was maintained throughout our stay as someone came out half way to clean it. The kitchen was basic but had everything we needed. The sun shone on the terrace all afternoon and was beautiful. We walked down to the marina which took around 15 minutes where there is lots of nice restaurants. We did hire a car and think that was a good decision with where we were located. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We had a lovely 5 days in Lanzarote, it was a great location, we loved seeing the planes come and go from the airport and this was not a problem at all for us, the closeness to the beach and lovely restaurants was great too, it’s a very quiet and private neighbourhood and even as 3 women with one child we felt very safe walking around and exploring, will def be back to enjoy this place hopefully next year.

Very nice Villa, walking distance to the promenade full of surprisingly good restaurants! We enjoyed the stay with three kids. The pool water heating was not working for the first day, but the host arranged immediately to fix it so we could enjoy it for most of the trip.

As the accommodation was available, we were able to take it earlier thanks to Nelly's flexibility, who welcomed us very warmly. The exteriors ( pool, summer kitchen, living room...) are at their best. Not overlooked and very quiet. The interiors match the description, comfortable bedding. Central location to visit the whole island of Lanzarote. We would recommend this listing.

We had a lovely relaxing time staying in Villa Kenia. It was spotless and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The house is in a safe, quiet area, with 2 supermarkets and a beautiful Indian restaurant around the corner. The walk to the marina was along the sea and just beautiful. The marina is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Lastly Eva was a great host, with great communication.

An amazing house, beautifully furnished with fabulous swimming pool and outdoor space. It was like staying in our own private Parador. We felt very privileged to have stayed here. Susana was an excellent host and very responsive.

Great stay in a top villa. Traveled with our 3 young children who all had a blast. Villa is very spacious, has everything you need, with lovely mountain/sea view from the terrace. Sam a great host and very responsive. We hired a car to make the trips to Lidl and old town a little handier, to see a little of the island, and on return there was parking always available right beside the villa. Glad we hired a car but you could easily walk to everywhere if your kids are maybe touching adolescent stage. Walk to the beach and main strip is 10-15 mins. Will be recommending to others and hope to go back. 👍🏻

We have just ret We have just returned from our trip to Villa Maria Cecilia and we did not want it to end! There were 5 adults and 1 toddler and we all had a brilliant time. Johanna is such a wonderful host, and was always quick to respond to any questions. She gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and activities to try during our stay, and they were great! The house has excellent amenities, and we did not want for anything. My 2 year old daughter especially loved all the toys! The house itself is beautiful, and we spent most days by, and in, the pool. The gentleman who cleaned the pool and outdoor area every morning did an excellent job and it was spotless when we woke up each morning. The house's location is perfect and everywhere is Puerto del Carmen is walkable. We cannot wait to return again in the near future.

superb Villa, close to the most beautiful beaches of Playa Blanca, within walking distance of the Villa. but also, restaurant, tapas bar accessible on foot in qq min. Clean villa, ideal for a family, has two bathrooms, a dressing room in the family room. possibility to park in front of the Villa, free parking. convenience store 3 min walk everything was perfect. Another lovely holiday in Villa Sefa, my third stay. If I need to contact Pedro, he always responds very promptly and any problem is quickly sorted.

Beautiful villa, all amenities you could need and more!! Clean, comfortable, spacious and peaceful. Lovely outside area with pool plenty of sunshine all day long. Isabel was the best host, she was super responsive and very attentive and helpful. Perfect for a family holiday. Highly recommended indeed.
