Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Province of Massa and Carrara

We spent 4 days with the family in Rafaella's house. It was his daughter, Chiara, who was in contact with us before, during and after our stay. Chiara was extraordinarily kind and caring. She patiently guided us on our journey so that we could enjoy the beauty of Tuscany. Attentive and responsive, Chiara was much more than just a contact, she brightened our stay and it is largely thanks to her that it was so pleasant. The villagers are charming and polite and you can get some groceries from the village grocery store (run by a cousin of Rafaella) The only difficulty we faced was the language barrier. But with a little French, a little Spanish, a few words of Italian and gestures, we can still make ourselves understood. Casa di Bruna is ideally located for various excursions (Cinque Terre, Pisa, La Spezia, etc.) We recommend this property. Chris

The week at Severino and Enrica was very relaxing for us. The house is remote and surrounded by forest. You have to experience the atmosphere, it's simply unique. We were just happy to spend time in the house and outside in the huge garden. It is made with so much love and built by Severino himself, and you can tell. However, you absolutely need a car. Otherwise, don't hesitate to book it. It's worth it. Severino and Enrica are kind-hearted people and we are very grateful to have met them. The two of them have won us over And authenticity enchants. Our family holiday (4 people) in this place was an absolute dream and in reality even more impressive than in the photos. The entire property is spotlessly clean and exudes a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. For our children and us, the pool in front of the breathtaking mountain scenery was the daily highlight – a perfect place to unwind and enjoy. The location is fantastic for escaping everyday life and being active at the same time. We explored the area on several beautiful hiking tours. But what really makes the stay special are the hosts: Chris and Joanna are incredibly warm and helpful. Their hospitality is exceptional. We highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful five days at Maria Grazia's! The place is beautiful and the view dazzling. It's very peaceful and sleeps very well. Maria Grazia is very attentive and responsive. We were perfectly welcomed. The garden is nice for everyone, including our dog. We really enjoyed the outdoor pizza oven! The location is both quiet and close to Lerici on foot. Lerici and the surrounding villages have nothing to envy to the Cinque Terre as they are beautiful and far from the crowds;) We would totally recommend this listing.

We loved Luca’s place. It’s a spacious apartment with an amazing view on the sea. And we loved Corniglia, it’s the most quiet place in Cinque Terre and is perfectly located to go hiking around. It also has what we thought was the best rocky spot for bathing and swimming (and it’s just a few steps from the apartment!). Luca is a nice host and has given us great recommendations (the bar/restaurant on the way to the sea is a must!). We are still dreaming about our week there…will definitely come back!

The place is beautiful and much better than photos! There is so much space in the villa. It’s beautifully decorated, has everything you need for your stay. The surroundings are fab! The idea of shared spaces is very nice. While its up in the mountains, we didnt find it difficult getting out and about everyday. But you have to have your own transport (would not recommend without a car/bike) It was easy to park. Easy to get in and with hosts being there everyday we felt like if we needed something we could always ask. Its a very grand stay and we would definitely be looking to return. Shower room is modern along with modern kitchen, and the bedrooms with living space while having old style features are practical and well thought out. Us and our pets had a lovely time at the villa 💛

We really enjoyed our stay with Matteo and his family. Everyone was very friendly and always helpful. The communication with Matteo was super straightforward and he always responded quickly to messages. We were even allowed to taste the honey from his bees and the lemons from his garden. The apartment is very nice, big and spacious and we didn't miss anything. The terrace and the barbecue corner are great! Our little daughter will miss the cats very much. We also enjoyed the pool area. From there you have a fantastic view of the bay. We would love to vacation with Matteo and his family again soon.

This Airbnb is beautifully located in the Tuscan mountains, with an incredible view from the beautiful garden. The apartment was perfectly clean and very spacious, and furnished in a classic Italian style. The kitchen had all amenities needed, and even some supplies for our first breakfast! Lucia was very kind and super flexible with our late arrival, gave great tips for the area - all in all, the perfect hostess. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

You open the gate to the property and think you've landed in paradise. We spent a fantastic two weeks in this dream house. The view of the bay and the village are amazing. The pool is huge and everything was well maintained. Valentina & Jacopo are very warm hosts with great tips who take great care of their guests. They came by often and cleaned the pool, mowed the lawn, etc. The house is super nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable there. The only thing I would have found great would be fly screens, so you can open the windows at night without being bitten, but that's really all. So, complaining at a very high level ;). The village of Monte Marcello is super nice and idyllically located, with a great view. From there we made excursions to Pisa, Florence, Lerici, La Spezia, the Cinque Terre, etc. To sum it up: It was a dream!!!

Manfredo and Nilla are very kind and helpful. Upon request, they will give you the best advice on restaurants and travel. They are also very helpful. The garden is simply a dream and the apartment is also very nice. The pool is very clean. We'll be back! Best regards.

I believe this is the best Airbnb I've ever done in my life! So nice to enter this clean , tidy place with a sumptuous view of nature from the balcony! The wonderful touches in the space! Excellent bedding! Amazing shower, perfect hot water with stone decor! I would recommend this place to all to visit the 5 lands! 20 minutes from the spezia:-) Monica and Luca exceptional kind smiling hosts!! See you soon, I hope!! Delightful, well equipped, comfortable and really quiet. It’s a real getaway but not too far from some lovely beaches and villages; a car is a must. Do note that there is no aircon, but the fan supplied was adequate for us. Our host, Elizabetta was extremely helpful.

This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

wonderful villa with a very impressive panoramic view over the surrounding hills with the beautiful peaks of Alpi apuane in the background. the house and surrounding terrain is big, plenty of space. lots of birds singing around the house. we did a lot of hiking around in Lunigiana which feels a bit like a well-kept secret (beautiful but not many tourists). we liked Fivizzano, but basically every little village is quite pretty here.

Area slightly outside the city, perfect for those who love being in the middle of nature and excellent if you want to move from Viareggio to the 5 Terre! Accommodation on the ground floor and part of a family house, with a beautiful garden (we also had a barbecue with the equipment present) overlooking a beautiful vegetable garden, which overlooks a stream that brings fresh air and the sound of running water. Marco welcomed us, super kind and helpful for all doubts and requests for advice. If we return to the area, we know where to stay 💪

super dear host and always easily accessible, very clean apartment, the view is beautiful - there is nothing to complain about, book the accommodation if you want to visit la spezia or cinque terre!

This Villa was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in as part of our family vacation to Italy. We are a group of 9, including 1 baby and 2 small children, and the Villa was perfect for our stay. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the pool and the patio was perfect for our Chef prepared dinner. Thomas and Enrico were amazing hosts and super responsive to any questions. The Villa is walkable to the Towne Center, train station, and grocery store. We HIGHLY recommend the Villa and hope to be able to return someday.

We had a great time in Giampis house. Beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool, and we especially liked the kitchen outside in the upper house, which we could use also when it was raining. Great surroundings, great view, walking distance to shops and good restaurants in the small, peaceful town La Gracie and 15 min walks to the more touristic, but beautiful Portovenere. A great base for tours in Cinque Terre, with ferry from Portovenere or bus into La Spezia and train from there. We came without car, no problem at all to get around. Giampaolo is very friendly and helpful and gave us good advices where to eat and to do our shopping, and how to get around. We will absolutely recommend Giampaolos place, either for a relaxing or for a sportive vacation, or even better, both!
