Holiday rentals with lake access in Poitou-Charentes

We had a great time! Marie-Claude is charming and welcoming. The place is ready for a green one! In a quiet, typical and flowery place, it is a real haven of serenity. If in addition you are lovers of bucolic walks, this is the perfect place. I would 100% recommend!

We had a really lovely few days here. The space is homely and well-equipped. The grounds are beautiful, and my children loved the ponies, the swimming pool and the trampoline. William was a very warm and helpful host. We ate in his brother’s restaurant down the road - Lotte and Liette - which was delicious, and we bought home-made bread from his sister-in-law which was also delicious!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

This property is very special! I loved my time at it. It is such a warm property with so much character but has all the modern elements that are needed for a comfortable longer stay. The internet speed was fantastic as well and I could telework with no issues. The property is private without feeling isolated. I would love to return to this property in the future!

Extra stay at Louise's!! The cottage is incredible, very beautiful, well restored, impeccably clean, very well located, impeccable bedding. Really, it's a little gem. Olivier welcomed us very well, very considerate and accommodating. We cycled for 3 days along the marshes. A little extra when you get it in the fridge!! We had a great stay at the house in Saint-Patrice. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, the house was very clean and functional, the property had a huge number of activities and games for us to play, and the setting was beautiful and very peaceful. We would recommend it to pretty much anyone interested in the area.

We had a pleasant stay at Daniele and Philip's. We enjoyed the location and the accommodation. Everything was just like in the description. We highly recommend this rental.

Jean-Pierre and Joëlle's apartment is ideally located 10 minutes' walk from the wild beach of Tanchet, in a quiet cul-de-sac with a parking space to park your vehicle. Very clean and comfortable, this studio has an outdoor table to sit and eat. we really enjoyed this stay where we were very well received. we recommend this cozy nest in this beautiful city of Sands!

Very well located, perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated apartment. The location is ideal in Montaigu, close to all shops and restaurants. Perfect for visiting the region: only 30 minutes from Puy du Fou, 40 minutes from Nantes, and close to the Vendée coast. We had a great time, I highly recommend it.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We had a lovely stay. Super well appointed environment ( games for children outside and large indoor games room). We were able to enjoy a canoe ride made available by hosts. The accommodation is very well-equipped.

Beautiful accommodation, authentic, no fuss, everything is planned for a pleasant stay. Lots of attention for children with board games for all ages, costumes, outdoor games. 35 minutes from Puy du Fou, 50 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonne... We appreciate the basic necessities to be immediately comfortable (laundry, soap, groceries, enough to have lunch...) as well as the beds made. We also appreciate the possibility of going to see the animals, picking a strawberry or collecting an egg... Excellent value for money!!!

Perfect accommodation for a getaway. Alone or with family, in good weather or rainy weather, the atmosphere of this place is ideal for feeling good.

The little Moulin de Claire is a true haven of peace. You can find all kinds of activities that will delight your guests! This house is clearly suitable for large groups of people. Also, there are no neighbours nearby which is a big plus. On the other hand, the lake was a little in its "juice" which disappointed us a little for swimming but we quickly understood that we were also in a natural and preserved environment :) Nevertheless kayaks are available for the ride on the lake which is a very appreciable.
