Holiday rentals with beach access in Playacar

We felt very comfortable. The apartment is not far from 5th Ave. The beach is also within walking distance. We also liked that there was a pool in the residential complex. The area is safe and the neighborhood is very nice and friendly.

We loved staying at Dmitri's place! its situated in a complex of condos within a private estate, the whole area is incredibly safe and we felt more than safe walking round at night. the airbnb was nicer than a hotel, large, spacious, clean, towels on hand and the patio leads right out to the pool. the pool was huge and had a swim up bar which we LOVED. Felt so much nicer than an all inclusive resort. the pool has plenty of deck chairs and is generally very quiet. it's a 30 minute walk to the town which we loved exploring in the evening would 10/10 recommend to a friend and stay here again if we came back :)

The space was a studio, but the location was great - very close to everything. It was super clean, and it felt secure. We had a car, and it was super easy to park under the building. The kitchen was well outfitted, and had everything we needed for coffee in the morning. Andres was a very communicative host, and we appreciated the list of restaurant recommendations he’d provided.

I saw good reviews before deciding to stay at the accommodation and I can confirm that it is worth staying here. First of all, the room is quite comfortable, very tidy, everything impeccable, in short I was delighted, everything matched the photos and the description, it is well worth the price I paid, and if you go up to the rooftop in the afternoons you can take good photos and see a beautiful sunset. The hosts were attentive to me every second I was there, answering the questions I had. I can definitely say that I really enjoyed my stay here, the location is perfect, very close to Fifth Avenue, and I can safely say that this is my new favorite Airbnb in Playa del Carmen. I hope the hosts give me the opportunity to stay again, I highly recommend it.

Great! Liked everything. Although the building is very close to the 5th floor, the place is very quiet. I really liked the location. The apartment is new, well tidy, it has a balcony and if you can see the sea. Communication with Mati was exelente. I'll be back

We historically been resort people in Mexico. Took a chance on an Airbnb and let me tell you - NO REGRETS. Do it now! Great value, amazing restaurants to walk to, safe and there is a great roof top pool with cash bar. You’ll have the resort experience with a much better value. Thank you to our host.

Beautiful neighborhood , close to the beach and downtown on foot everywhere, and quiet , beautiful apartment with everything you need , would come back

Wow, BOOK it now! We loved our Spring Break retreat here. The sprawling house is amazing. It was perfect for our 2 families (9 ppl - 4 adults, 5 teen or preteens). We had enough room to spread out but all connect in the amazing spots throughout the property. The house setup gives lots of flexibility to accommodate variety of guests. The porch is awesome. The pool and waterfall are relaxing. The cenote is truly uniques. The support team (Ruth - housekeeper and Rafael - handyman, grounds) are a superb extra perk. We coordinated for a bfast and dinner by Ruth and perfecto. They treat the property and guests with real caring. The location is convenient for all types of activities. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend.

This was a GREAT place to stay! Perfect location and very spacious and clean. We loved it!

If I had to pick one feature about the place - that would be location: 5 minutes walking from the beach, in a quiet security-protected community [ don't forget your wrist band !! :) ], 15 minutes from the nearest restaurants on the 5th Avenue. Taxi was easy to catch at the Riu hotel (opposite side of the street, 5 minutes walk) - prices are listed upfront, drivers accept credit cards (10% extra charge is listed too). So, no surprises. The townhome is not brand new, but clean; equipment (washer/dryer/gas stove ...) work fine. We, family of 4 = 2 adults + 2 kids (13 & 15yo) used pool a lot around noon - nobody was there most of the time. HVAC cooled the bedrooms on the 2nd floor better when the fan was set to low or medium - not to hi (a bit counterintuitive, so thanks to host for help with that). Very good mattresses (usually it is an issue for us). 3 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas are available behind small doors under the stairs (1st floor). A bottle of wine was waiting for us - nice!

This house is perfect. It’s huge. Close to the beach and amazing. Don’t hesitate to book it.

It is an excellent option for family holidays since being inside Playacar the rules and/or restrictions are quite a few, the house is perfect, the service and cleanliness too, the only thing I suggest if you rent is to bring your own personal hygiene products since those offered in the house are of low quality. In general, a very good option since you are 10 minutes' walk from the best restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Our stay at Casa Jaybird was amazing. We spent a month here and could have easily stayed longer. The location really can't be beat - a super quiet street right off 5th Avenue and walking distance to the beach. But for being so close to all the action, the home felt so private when you were inside. Elizabeth was always responsive and quick to answer our questions, and Samuel was always so kind and happy to help with anything around the house. We have young children so we had white noise machines in all the bedrooms, so we didn't have any concerns with the noise as some reviews mention. There was some construction nearby during the day but truly nothing that really bothered us. We'll be back!

Manuel and Mayezka were very responsive. The bed is comfortable and the shower quite nice for Mexico standards. Powerful AC keeps the bedroom quite cold and the rest of the house a moderate temperature. It is a 15 minute walk from the beach. I felt very safe, even as a single woman. Enjoyed the private courtyard a lot. Only downsides, the kitchen is not very well stocked and I ended up taking a taxi into town almost every day via the InDrive app. Oh! Do yourself a favor and visit Kaawa Coffee Roaster/ Shop just a few blocks away! Full ham & cheese croissant sandwich with lettuce and tomato for $3 USD. Also, many people say there are so many expats in Playa that one does not need to speak Spanish, which is not true in this part of town (Nicte-ha). I'm in another AirBnB now that is walkable to 5th Ave for the same price, but the quality is severely lacking in comparison. So, if you are looking for a high quality place and don't mind taking a Taxi, this is a great choice!

I absolutely loved this condo and the location! The gym and rooftop pool are an amazing feature. It’s steps away from the quiet end of 5th ave and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The grocery store is nearby. Starbucks is a 2 minute walk for morning coffee. The condo is beautiful and I liked the extras (such as shampoo and conditioner provided). I loved it so much…. I stayed an extra day which Ronn facilitated promptly. He was kind and offered assistance but his instructions were so clear that we didn’t even need to ask him anything. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your beautiful condo! I will absolutely book with you again!!

Would definitely come back!!! Fantastic host - kind, informative & wonderfully hospitality. We loved this beautiful place & options on site for private cenote, Mayan ruins, and short walk to the beach. Perfect in case we didn't get out to explore. I chose Playa del Carmen because it's half way between Cancun & Tulum yet fairly easy to get to the airport. We went to Edin cenote which was fun, refreshing & close by, in Tulum we enjoyed a completely different vibe, and ran out of time to snorkel in Akumal. The 3 seperate bedrooms are each spaced well for privacy. There was a very nice oven/stove to cook meals on which we did 50% of the time and we really enjoyed the variety of restaurants with great service nearby. Our favorite breakfast was at Lara & Luca. Unexpected: The Mall in walking distance, super friendly people, and how much we loved seeing wildlife by the pool: spider monkeys, caoti, and iguanas in the trees with turtles and agouti on land. The apartment was great. Had everything you need for the stay. Wifi was great also. Had no problems. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. Great location, so close to the beach and private beach entrance. They even had all the things you need for the beach like chairs and umbrellas. Would go back 100%

Excellent place to spend it quiet, cozy, and excellent location. The guest's attention was excellent, even we were taken care of after we left the place and they gave us back a charger that we forgot. Super recommended

Amazing price for a condo that has all you need. Rooftop pool is very nice and great for when the beaches are filled with seaweed. Stefano was very quick to respond to any questions and made the check in/check out very simple. Only thing to take note is that you’re right on the main street, so expect some loud music to be played at night.

Great apartment in a nice condo complex. It’s worth noting that if you’re after beach time to note that Playa del Carmen and that coast gets a lot of seaweed from May thru August apparently, so be prepared for the smell and not using the sea much. The apartment is wonderful, well lit, very spacious and well equipped. The host is very responsive. The pool setup is great, added bonus having same shade over the pool. Staff at the complex are fantastic. Overall we enjoyed our stay here

Balam was very responsive and helpful with any questions including transportation to and from the airport! The property was clean and updated, in a secure location, walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and beaches. The only reason I selected a "4" for location was due to loud singing late night and dogs barking late night and early morning which limited us sleeping as a family. If you don't mind the noise and stay up late, than I would say all was perfect and as described.
