Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Placer County

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Nicole is a fantastic host. Non intrusive and very fast to respond to anything you need. Would definitely stay again!

Jess’ place was both incredibly well designed and cozy at the same time. It was immaculately clean, had a well stocked kitchen and was a perfect distance to the main drag in town. In addition, Jess was the most responsive and flexible host - answering all our many questions and asks for local recommendations (we were staying with a big family and kids over Christmas). Would 100% stay here again!

Very beautiful home! Pricey but you definitely get what you pay for! Very much worth the money! We will be back!

BEST location and a fabulous property. We parked our car for the entire stay. Walked minutes to restaurants, coffee, shops, to the suspension bridge and hiking trails. The outdoor patio is lovely, the beds comfortable and the home plenty roomy. Sam and Andrejka were super responsive and great hosts. It was the perfect place for our visit to Nevada City!

The house is cozy. We liked the two tables in the kitchen living-room area. A bit tight for 12 people. But we had fun. I didn’t know what the square footage was when we chose it, so think close quarters. The kitchen is well stocked with great appliances. Plenty of towels and blankets.

Nelson was an awesome host. Very communicative and helpful. House was great.

The cottage was lovely. Danika was very welcoming. We will definitely be back with a big group and take advantage of all the cute cottages that Danika has. Coloma is a cute little town, some good option for breakfast/lunch and dinner and we had a great time rafting. Loved everything about it!

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. We had a great stay at Marci’s house. Everything was as described. The location is great-so close to the lake & a short drive to Truckee, North Star etc. The beds were comfy & all appliances were very new. The big back yard was great & we enjoyed the gas fireplace. The only negative is the hot tub is in the backyard so a bit of a walk through the snow to get to it in the winter. Not a deal breaker but just something to note. Would stay again.

Mick worked with us when our flights were delayed and was proactive with communications. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner on our spring ski vacation. Thank you Mick!

Very new, very comfortable, close to everything you need, beautiful neighborhood. As mentioned in other reviews it is a little loud at times but if you just shut the window it blocks out all of the outside noise. The town has a noise ordinance at night but they need one in the morning ! Kitchen has everything we needed to cook breakfast and have coffee and tea. John is a great host and made it very easy for use to enjoy the beauty and rich history of Nevada city. Cheers !

Great stay. Carol was super responsive and very sweet. Bedroom and living space were very comfortable for my toddler and myself. The grounds provided plenty of room to roam. Very quick, pleasant walk to Broad St. Thank you so much, Carol!

Very clean and nice place to stay!

Kathy’s place was a wonderful home base for our Tahoe weekend. Being able to walk out to the edge of the lake, and out onto a beautiful pier in the peaceful water, just a minute away from the unit, was magical. It was very close to Tahoe City shops and restaurants- you could easily walk or bike over. The location was ideal. The complex was very quiet while we were there (Spring), really so peaceful, and just enough away from the bustle of the main road. Kathy was a very helpful and communicative host. Everything was comfortable and clean, and we had any amenity we could think of at the ready. All around, a lovely stay in a beautiful place, thanks Kathy!

The unit was everything we needed for a late spring skiing weekend at Northstar, incredibly close to the resort with a shuttle stop right outside. The unit was as described and depicted, and Jared was communicative / provided clear instructions for check in and check out.

Great location right on Northstar Village, close to all activities and lifts. Well spread apartment with all amenities and clean. Perfect for a family of 5.

Matt and Katie’s place is the perfect Palisades ski weekend stay! The place: -Amazing location in the center of the village, nice building and amenities (fully stocked kitchen, two huge community hot tubes, beautiful views from the deck), and lots of space to unwind. The only minor downside is it can be a little noisy on Friday night with a karaoke bar two floors below but this disbanded by 11pm. The hosts: Extremely responsive and helpful, with great recommendations and clear instructions. Overall, 10/10 planning to stay again!

The location is great, quiet with beautiful surroundings. I would give John 5 stars. He is a great host and very responsive. He kindly accommodated our early check-in and late check-out, which we really appreciated. For the place itself, I would give 4 stars. It could use a bit of maintenance, specifically, the dishwasher needs some attention, and the heater in the master bedroom was a bit too loud. However, everything else worked fine for a comfortable night’s sleep after a full day of skiing.

It's a very cozy space. Small but still contains everything one would need for a long term stay. Not a great cellular signal, and apparently they have blackouts from time to time, but this isn't reflective of the host. Just an fyi if you're needing a stable cellular connection. The wifi is strong enough as well, apart from unforseen loss of electricity.

5 stars! Easy directions for room key pick up. Very convenient underground parking in building. There were snacks to welcome us, and well stocked kitchen and bathroom. They even had phone chargers in every room. The place was very clean and directly in the village next to a lovely wine bar. Would absolutely stay here again. Easy access to the lifts (approx 5 min) and all the restaurants and bars are stars away.

Kate is a fabulous host who is available to answer all of our questions and provided excellent instructions in terms of check-in and any questions that we had. It is a walk to the ski hill and we were so fortunate that NorthStar remained open for Easter weekend. We had a wonderful Easter holiday at her luxury condo that is equipped with everything that you could possibly need. We enjoyed the restaurants at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe along with sitting outside by the fire pits. We also enjoyed an afternoon at the spa which was absolutely amazing !! I would recommend staying at this beautiful condo to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun family vacation !! Thank you Kate we hope to come back soon !!!
