Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Placer County

The place was as described and looked like the pictures. Erica was very responsive to questions we had. The unit also had some extra bathroom amenities like eye makeup remover and Q-tips besides your usual shampoo/conditioner and body wash. They also gave a small s’more’s package. The kitchen had standard supplies but had some plastic dining ware that we were able to use for the kids. They also had a toy and book basket with games that my kids loved. Very family friendly. The location is a little farther from the ski lifts but completely walkable and in the village. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The unit was sparklingly clean. The location is perfect in Northstar village, and we were able to park till 4PM after checking out which was very helpful. Elizabeth was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend!

Great stay! Everything about this condo was terrific - location, amenities, ease of check-in and parking, cleanliness, communication, etc. We had everything we needed for our stay, and I loved that they had plenty of towels for us (so many places don't). The view was great and it's located right in the heart of The Villages so there were restaurants and shopping right outside our door. Great location for winter or summer stays. Highly recommend - we'll definitely stay again!

I had a great stay at Marci’s place! The house was clean, had great instructions/recommendations for the house and area, and the backyard and deck were so nice to have. There was quite a bit of pollen due to all the nearby trees, so if you are allergic remember to bring allergy meds in the summer. The kitchen was very well stocked. They also provided a kayak and a lot of beach gear. The hot tub was fantastic!

We had an amazing stay! The place was incredibly cozy and welcoming—it truly felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed and even more than we could’ve thought to ask for. Every detail was so thoughtfully prepared. Tanya is an amazing host. We look forward to comeback to Tahoe and definitely will try to book this place again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Lori’s place. The condo was as described, with plenty of space and close to the Northstar shuttle stop. The shuttle was easy to request and usually available within a few minutes even during ski week. One morning we did have to wait 15 minutes, but that was unusual. Lori was responsive when we needed help with something. We would happily stay again.

We loved staying here! We were there in off-season, between ski season and summer but it was perfect for us. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. The village shops were closed but pool and fitness rooms were open. Such a beautiful resort and super convenient for going to the lake and into Truckee. The condo was nice and clean and fully stocked. The host was helpful and responsive. Would definitely live to stay again.

This condo is in a great location! You can ski right to the lobby door and it is not very far to walk from the lobby to this unit. Skiing out, you can get right to the Wa She Shu lift, or walk a little further to the other village lifts and gondolas. The condo had plenty of space and was very comfortable. We liked having a washer/dryer. The hot tubs and amenities were wonderful! (2 indoor and 2 outdoor hot tubs as well as a steam room and sauna!) We would definitely stay here again if we return to Palisades. We only had one issue while we were there, but Bruce was responsive and resolved it to our satisfaction.

We had a great time staying at this place. We loved the easy access to the Treetop Adventure Park, sauna, hot tub, and pool. Wifi was fast and reliable, and I had no issues working remotely.

Loved our stay. Nebojsa & Sladana were very quick and responsive to questions before and during our stay. The place was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could have needed, and the location was great for ski in and out access. Bonus for being in the first floor. Hope to book again next season.

Ideal location for a family ski trip. Parked in heated garage and didn’t have to get in the car until it was time to leave. Spacious and fully stocked. Would stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay and can’t wait to return!

Very good family ski in ski out condo for spring break. Well stocked kitchen and updated appliances. Clean bathroom with plenty of towels etc. Comfy couch and living area. A little bit of a walk (with stairs) from the parking area so if you have senior members of your group keep that in mind. Very easy to get to and from the slope (ski down to gondola in 15 seconds). Village run returns you right to parking area for the condo.

Yufen & Biren have created a lovely space to decompress at in between the busy days of exploring the High Sierras. Great communication, clean space, clear instructions. Thank you!

Great location — close to Northstar’s shops and restaurants, and an easy drive to Lake Tahoe. The property was just as described, and the host was very helpful with clear instructions and great communication. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend. The place was clean and exactly what we expected. The area is beautiful, so much to do, pretty good food, and of course surrounded by beautiful nature. No complaints.

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions.

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! The house was spacious and clean, and the layout was great with a large and central living room / kitchen. Beds were comfortable, and the house had plenty of towels for the bath and hot tub (definitely an issue I've run into at other properties). Also a nice bonus, but there were humidifiers all over the house for us to use. Multiple members of our party said this was one of their favorite vacations cabins they've stayed in. The host was also super friendly and responsive! Thanks, Bora!

The air b&b was in a beautiful spot, very peaceful. Communication was excellent. This place exceeded my expectations. We will be back!

Jamie’s home was perfect for our family’s stay at Northstar. Roomy, comfortable, and ideally located. We’ll look forward to staying here again!

Such a wonderful stay for the weekend! Everything was clean, warm and welcoming. The neighborhood was so serene. Instructions for check in and check out were clear. As far as checkout, I recommend taking the trash out the night before you plan to leave. It’ll save you a back and forth trip the morning of! I would definitely plan a stay here again!

Excellent place for three families to stay while in town for a wedding! Close to town, yet peaceful! Great for kiddos lots of books and toys for them to explore. Great outdoor space and eat to access with lock box check in and out. The only negative were had were the back room and bedroom were very warm but we also had exceptional hot weather! We had plenty of room to sprawl out. Fully stocked kitchen was very helpful. Comfy beds and loved they had a pack and play ready for us 😊 would definitely start again when we’re in the area! Thank you!

Not enough superlatives to describe this luxurious mountain retreat. Very well appointed. Amazing location. Great amenities. We are a family of 6 who had the best summer vacation here. Wish we had stayed 2 weeks. Can’t wait to come back for winter. I almost regret sharing this review because I want to keep this place to myself!
