Private suite holiday rentals in Placer County

I knew the house would be rustic, so I brought my camping gear. I did not need them. The kitchen was well equipt. I could cook anything I needed to make on the hot plate or in the microwave/toaster. There was also a smoker and like 5 BBQs. Do not be worried about cooking. The location is awesome. It is so close to so many things.. or you can just hang out on the property. We spent a day on the property and a day exploring. We spent every night in the hot tub. It was glorious. The bed is very comfortable!

We had a great stay at Mary’s guest suite in Grass Valley. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and the location was incredibly convenient to get to the fairgrounds where our band was performing. The house also easily accommodated our five-piece band and luggage. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hosts and beautiful private property

Randy’s space was perfect for my husband and me as we visited with my aunt for her 80th birthday. It was close to her, and all the amenities we needed yet quiet and private. The outside space was lovely for sitting and having a glass of wine in the evening. It was also an easy walk to downtown for restaurants.

Booked this for a last minute trip with 2 infants and 2 elderly. Michael was very responsive and proactive. He kindly offered us kayak/easy ups, though we didn't get to use them. Location is amazing! You could just walk to the beach. Very close to Safeway/Kings Beach/North Tahoe Beach. Being on the first floor helped our group. Everything felt much better than the photos! The unit had everything one would need while staying.

The first thing my wife said when we entered the property was “it’s charming.” A little cute place which served all our needs for a 3-day stay. We excited to see a coffee presser, coffee beans and grinder so we enjoyed a fresh coffee in the mornings. We had everything we needed and we didn’t need to reach out even once for anything. The greatest surprise was the last night when Elizabeth brought us amazing macadamia and peanut butter cookies to die for.

We enjoyed our stay. Place was adorable, my husband was on a bike ride to Grass Valley and she was so flexible on check in so he could shower. The was a nice bottle of Cab for us with a bike rider on the label, cute detail! The next morning she delivered a delicious breakfast. We would stay again. If you have any mobility issues, it is a bit of a climb to get to the room. Not an issue for us, but could be for someone else. Thank you Kelsey!

Please place was very tranquil. Very nice to get away from everything. The host were amazing helped out whenever. They could also even ask if I needed anything. I definitely recommend this place. Comfortable place, well equipped and easy instructions all round, fantastic pool with waterfalls is the main attraction, centrally located for Sierra foothills etc., wish we had more time to explore the area. Good for a group needing 2+ bedrooms. Jeannot was a welcoming and responsive host. Thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay! The space was clean, open, and perfectly located for our event. Having grown up in this town, it was such a treat to stay right in the heart of it. Erica was always quick to respond when I reached out, and everything was exactly as described in the listing. I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for future visits, and I’ve already recommended it to local friends for when they have friends or family visiting. If you stay here, be sure to stop by Newcastle Pizzeria—absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the rosemary, garlic, and parmesan wings.

I have to rate Kelly's rental 5-Stars as they are meticulous about their property. I have very high standards as I also own 5-Star properties and it is refreshing to find one that hits that high mark. Extremely clean, quaint property, perfect for a couple with updated historic touches. Perfectly located with a mainline access to wherever you want to go. Host very responsive and accommodating. It takes work and effort to do a great vacation rental and this one shows that they have their heart in it. Highly recommended. Mike Howard

Sandeep and Pooja’s place was so easy to find. He had clear instructions on how to get inside of the home and was quick to respond, I will most definitely consider staying there once I’m back in town!! Loved it!!

First of all, the bed is unbelievably comfortable! The space is beautiful, clean, and roomy. I had everything I needed and the hosts were so helpful with all my questions. I was a little worried about not being able to control the air conditioner but they keep it at a very comfortable temperature of 75 which was perfect. The neighborhood was beautiful, and quiet. Had a great stay here

Trish’s place is absolutely adorable, warm and cozy. Walking distance to downtown Grass Valley. Trish went the extra mile for me during my stay. I will definitely be booking again!

Karyn’s place was a slice of heaven with a patio overlooking a beautifully manicured hillside. We even had a deer walk by while we were looking out of the patio door. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the interior decor as well. The washer and dryer was a plus, as we were there after other travel. Extremely quiet and very clean! The kitchen was very well stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Karyn was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Auburn!

This was the perfect place to stay. We were coming into town to visit for my niece‘s graduation and we did not need a whole house. Just a place for me and my boyfriend and seven month old son to stay for a few nights. We had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. The place was clean and Mekha was very nice and responsive to every message and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. There were even some snacks and drinks in the fridge. It’s in a nice quiet, peaceful safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants and things nearby. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again as well.
