Beachfront holiday rental in Placer County

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This location is one of my favorites in the world. The comfortable room and pond are both peaceful, relaxing, and refreshing. The pond is clean and full of healthy fish. The birds, cats, and Leeloo (the loving dog) are all a pleasure to be around, but Rena really is the best. She is more-than-accommodating, friendly, and a pleasure to chat with. I always look forward to paying the pond house a visit, and it’s yet another excuse to shake the rust off the fishing rods. As always, I’ll be back soon. Thanks again, Rena.

This was a very comfortable stay and so peaceful!

Great location/setting on the water. Nice grassy area w/seating above the beach. Its an easy property to immediately feel comfortable in: Kitchen was straight forward to work in and the dinning and living rooms were spacious & relaxed w/nice views. Heater worked well and quietly. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. 5 minutes to Tahoe City (south) and 5 minutes to Cornelian Bay - lots of beaches and parks near by.

This was a great place. I stayed here for 4 nights and was just at peace with the endless view of pine trees in the backyard and lake view from the road ahead by the front of the house. Close to lake, ski/board and groceries and restaurents. 10/10 recommend to anyone. Our dog loved it too!

Clean and comfy. Looks exactly like the photos. Easy to check-in and great location. Some spiders running around, but overall worth every penny.

This place did not have any reviews so didn’t know what to expect but the management company had excellent 5 star reviews with their other properties so we decided to give it a shot. Communication was excellent and thorough including detailed instructions to get there. Host readily available despite it being Xmas week, we even had treats for us! Great location, easy parking. Place was perfect for our family. It’s a small condo but had all we needed. Was squeaky clean w/ kitchen appliances and everything provided pretty much new. Host thought of it all - so great to arrive and have all the little amenities that make life so much easier (plenty of towels, soaps for bath and kitchen, lots of toiletries (including shampoo/conditioner/lotion, floss picks, cotton swabs). Lots of places don’t include these ‘perishables’ and we hate bringing them. Home was warm and cozy. We cooked breakfast/dinner 3/4 days at the home. Safeway is less than 5 min away. We skied nearby at Diamond Peak

Amazing complex with a private dock, fire pit, pool and hot tub, private little beach. All was amazing, easy to walk to restaurants and overall great stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great communication.

Great townhouse at the Tahoe Lake front with amazing view. It was a bit tricky to find at first after parking. Very well stocked house. Kitchen is so nice that it felt like at home. The only thing is the knifes are too dull (even after I tried to sharpen them) :) Safeway and plenty restaurants nearby. It was very easy to figure out what to eat. Jimmy was very responsive, when we accidentally locked outs of the first floor bathroom he came by in 5 minutes with several keys to open it.

I needed a place to pause and just be soaked in the nature. This place was just the place I needed. They have their own gate so very peaceful and safe, location-wise only 5min drive away from the restaurants/shops which was perfect, and the place was better than the photos! One downside was the dryers that didn’t function properly due to the not cleaned filters. But other than that it was an incredible stay, I would definitely come again! If you’re reading this, stop scrolling and book this place if it’s available!

We loved our stay! We had a peaceful afternoon on the back porch enjoying views of the lake. We did have some trouble initially with the front door (hint: turn the key to the right more than you think you need to while you open the door), but everything else was easy breezy.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We enjoyed that it was close to everything and right on the Main Street . The private beach access was also a huge plus. I don’t have any complaints. Everything was wonderful.

Great location on the water and an excellent view of the lake. It was perfect for a smaller family trip. The community it’s in is very clean & other neighbors were super friendly. There’s a shared dock with little benches perfect for a morning coffee. The north side of the lake enhanced the “small town feeling” with fun lake side stores, little beaches & smaller (more Local) bars & restaurants. It was close to grocers which made planning meals on the fly super convenient. Overall such a nice location and would definitely consider staying there again.

We had a wonderful time staying here for our family weekend getaway! Host was timely and consistent in responses with a ready-made guide to local attractions, resources, and clear check-in/check-out instructions - never felt like I was left hanging whenever I had questions. Full view of the lake from the back deck and dining room window which is stunning, made my amateur photographer father very happy! We stayed in February and really appreciated the thoughtful winter-ready amenities like space heaters in the upstairs rooms, extra quilts, and heated mats on the walkway leading up to the front door outside. EV charging a plus as well. Parking a bit tricky with a small driveway (have to park back to front if more than one vehicle) but honestly with all the pluses, this shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. Overall a family-friendly Airbnb for kiddos and older family members alike, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Communication from Laura was excellent. The history of the cabin and the cabin is beyond beautiful. The views are stunning. Private beach is perfect. We cannot thank her enough for sharing her family treasure with the world.

Phenomenal weekend with my two kids! We would absolutely make this cabin a go-to spot for Tahoe summer getaways. While we had plans to explore a little out of the area both days we would 100% come again and simply take advantage of the wonderful HOA beach access. Such lovely landscaped grounds with a playground, picnic tables with propane bbq's, volleyball, bocce ball, horse shoe pits, etc etc. Entertainment for days. Plus the fact that it is literally a two block/5 min walk from the cabin is a game changer. Several fantastic restaurants and a wonderful market/deli right there round out the easy vibes of the area. We can't wait to return! Egg on my face for leaving with the HOA Beach Access Key. Shame shame shame. Shipping it back today, apologies to Julie and the subsequent renters I feel terrible :(

Very clean condo in a small upscale complex on the beach. This unit is a garden unit closer to North lake Blvd than to the beach but it’s very close. We are a family of four who spent a full week together and everything was very pleasant. We got lots of use of the full kitchen, gas bbq in the complex, outdoor table w six chairs on a lawn next to the beach, free laundry, comfortable beds and living room pullout. This condo was a good size for my husband and I with our 2 young adult children but would be a tight fit for more than 4 adults. Pros- clean, convenient location (walk to everything in Kings Beach), well stocked kitchen, laundry in complex, nice, reasonable price. Cons- road noise, lots of dogs at this part of the beach, no chaise lounges available for garden units, no chests of drawers in the bedrooms to store clothes.
