At a unique spot on the southern slope of Piesendorf with breathtaking views of a magnificent mountain landscape lies the luxurious Chalet Sonnenheim. The hiking and biking trails start at the front door. The ski resorts of Zell am See, the Kaprun glacier (October to May) Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Kitzbühel are within easy reach. Piesendorf itself also has a small ski resort. Great for tobogganing and for children. The golf courses of Zell am See, Mittersill and Saalfelden are also a short distance away.

Our family-run organic farm is situated 985 m above sea level with a beautiful view on the alps. We are surrounded by skiing areas: Zell am See-Schmittenhöhe, Kaprun-Kitzsteinhorn, Kitzbühel, Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Leogang. In addition, the Krimml Waterfalls and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road are close. The apartment is situated on the bottom floor of the farmhouse. It has its own entrance and a cosy sheltered patio with a great view that is situated directly next to a big garden.

Ski areas, toboggan runs, Zell am See, Kaprun can be reached in no time by car. Mountains, as well as alpine huts, mountain bike routes and hiking trails are also in the immediate vicinity. You can spend wonderfully relaxing winter evenings in front of the wood stove. The tourist tax is included in the price.

Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

You'll love the place because of the healthy wood construction, tiled stove, quiet location, terrace, fantastic views. My place is great for couples and guests traveling with their pets.
