Chalet holiday rentals in Piesendorf

The three of us (one adult and two teenagers) spent a wonderfully relaxing week here. Christoph is a great and uncomplicated host who responds very promptly to questions. The cottage itself is exactly as described. The approach is via a narrow path (on which we met two riders on our arrival, which led to a not entirely easy "reverse driving action"). Behind the house, a stream splashes, but you can't hear it with the windows closed (although I am quite sensitive to noise). In front of the house, a hiking trail passes by, which we used for two tours ("Hochebene Maria Elend - Kapelleralm Runde von Embach" and "Spektakulärer Skywalk - Taxenbach-Wasserfall Runde von Taxenbach" ... just check Komoot). The Berggolf round (clubs and balls are available in the information office in the village) is also fun. The Langreiter pizzeria is highly recommended. The only sticking point: the bunk bed for people > 1.90m.

Florian is a great host. His cabin is romantic and practical at the same time. Located on a beautiful sunny slope, it was an ideal starting point for wonderful days of skiing for us. The panoramic view is beautiful at any time and mood. The cabin has everything we needed with its furnishings and was both original and familiar at the same time. We were completely happy.

Mira's house is very comfortable, warm and spacious, it is cared for in every detail and enjoys a splendid view of the valley. A few minutes away is the Goldeck ski resort and about 40 minutes away is the pearl of Lake Weissensee, where you can ice skate and do other winter activities. The family was very kind and always available and very, very friendly. We were lucky not to have snowfall so we didn't put on the chains, however we recommend a 4x4 car to reach the accommodation in the middle of winter, as usual. Thanks for everything, we'll definitely be back!!

We were a larger group, two generations, and it fit perfectly. The house is very spacious and cozy Everything is available for cooking and grilling. And there's something for every level of hiker. The area is beautiful. Absolutely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and a great weekend. The hiking trails are fantastic, the locals are super nice. The hosts helped us with all questions and responded quickly. Simply great!

We stayed one week in Tania's Chalet, a very comfortable base for our family to explore the mountains around. There are lots of very well marked trails starting from the house, so no need to take the car, just for grocery shopping (closest supermarket is in Maria Alm). We enjoyed the thursday's traditional little dances and music in the village. Every Thursday in July and August at 8pm. The kitchen is very well supplied for large family and it is a pleasure to cook! The bedrooms are very comfortable and with very good mattresses and linen.

Great chalet in a prime location. We were 8 people on an extended hiking weekend. There is plenty of space for everyone, the house is clean and well equipped. The sauna and the large terrace are a highlight. We had a great time.

There were 5 of us in Wolfgang's chalet for a week. Everything was as in the photos and as described. The location of the house is perfect: very quiet, simply beautiful. When the sun is shining, you can have breakfast outside in the sun, and in the evening you can eat dinner on the terrace. From this location, you can easily do everything with short distances. The house is perfect in any weather: beautiful outside, and if the weather doesn't suit you, you can really feel comfortable inside. The mixture of regional, rural furnishings and modern, stylish elements is totally successful. The room with the panoramic window has a gigantic view of the famous Watzmann motif. The dining room offers space for many and a cosy and typical seating area. All bedrooms have their own charm and, to my taste: very good mattresses! And: communication with Wolfgang was always problem-free and very fast. In short, everything was perfect for us!

The place is lovely! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only point that irritated us a bit was the check-in and check-out times. Check-in is only from 4 PM.. although we were only able to arrive later due to work, but checking out at 10 AM is quite sporty.. We didn't really have this on our radar and overslept, so I contacted the host and explained that we overslept and would only check out around 10:30 AM. At 10:25 AM a man knocks and without further words he goes into the chalet to clean the hot tub. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, this got lost with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

The accommodation was really great. Super kid friendly and great location. There is another house between the house and the lake, but there is still direct access to the lake. It's also really great and great cooling in the summer. The owners are always available and available in the restaurant next door (this is also highly recommended!).

It was a wonderful stay. We were there with 4 people and a dog. The place is very clean, the beds and towels were fresh and washed. 🫧 We liked the sauna in the bathroom best, which was extremely easy to use and the perfect relaxation after long days of hiking. 😍 The view (directly onto the reservoir with the mountains around) as well as the privacy was just as beautiful. However, you have to accept that the nearest supermarket, etc., is 17 km away. But we would take this over and over again for such a great place to stay.🥹 The house has everything you need.🤗 The communication was also great, as was the descriptions. There is no even better price-performance ratio. Thank you for this lovely getaway.❤️

Nice place for holiday close to cableway. We had a good time here.

The cottage was easily accessible. Check-in and check-out are very straightforward. Unfortunately we had very bad weather, but when we entered the house it was nice and warm and very comfortable. That is why we enjoyed staying indoors and enjoyed our time there. Each room had its own bathroom with toilet, which is really great. Overall, we had a great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Our stay at the Steinbock was a complete success. The accommodation was clean, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need. We especially liked the quiet location with the magnificent view - perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and always easily accessible. We immediately felt welcome. The surrounding area also offers many great opportunities for hiking and exploring. We will be happy to come back!

We were lucky enough to take a week of winter vacation in Charlet Kreuzkogel. Already when we entered the house, we all felt very comfortable. The sauna of the fireplace and the quiet just outside location, made our stay perfect. Everything is within walking distance and was just ideally located for us with two dogs. We will be happy to come back next year.

We really liked the Steinbock Lodge as a group of 8 people! You are accommodated in a picturesque landscape, in which you can go hiking extremely well and in which a lot can be discovered on your own 🏔️ We found it wonderfully quiet and relaxing to be in the small town away from the city, as you could really enjoy nature there. The amenities were as indicated and can be seen in the pictures - we felt right at home 🏠 The furnishings and features (such as underfloor heating or pellet stove) were a very big plus. Even with 8 people, we had no major problems with the bathroom layout, as 3 were available. Technically speaking, everything is really up to date (right down to the small details such as the labelled switches, drawers, etc.) with a rustic, homely interior. We definitely recommend the place and will also be happy to come back!
