Chalet holiday rentals in Zell am See District

The three of us (one adult and two teenagers) spent a wonderfully relaxing week here. Christoph is a great and uncomplicated host who responds very promptly to questions. The cottage itself is exactly as described. The approach is via a narrow path (on which we met two riders on our arrival, which led to a not entirely easy "reverse driving action"). Behind the house, a stream splashes, but you can't hear it with the windows closed (although I am quite sensitive to noise). In front of the house, a hiking trail passes by, which we used for two tours ("Hochebene Maria Elend - Kapelleralm Runde von Embach" and "Spektakulärer Skywalk - Taxenbach-Wasserfall Runde von Taxenbach" ... just check Komoot). The Berggolf round (clubs and balls are available in the information office in the village) is also fun. The Langreiter pizzeria is highly recommended. The only sticking point: the bunk bed for people > 1.90m.

It was just wonderful! We really enjoyed our family vacation with our 1.5 year old son! The apartment is very cozy, super equipped and large. Everything was sparkling clean. Unfortunately, we didn't discover the great flexibility until two days before departure, because it was really great! Thanks to the Wildschönau Card, we were able to use all gondola lifts for free. It was really great and we look forward to next time!

Very nice house! And we've never had such a clean cottage! For a small problem, Irmgard was immediately available and took care of it right away and sent someone! The communication was generally very nice and accommodating!

A really wonderful stay for adults and children. Excellent facilities and very stylishly decorated. We were worried as we couldn’t see the kitchen/dining space properly in the photos but it is more than spacious enough for 10 with an adjoining outside terrace with stunning views. Amazing things to do, lots within 10 mins. Lovely restaurants nearby. Best to have a car to be able to di everything. We loved it. Would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay and a great weekend. The hiking trails are fantastic, the locals are super nice. The hosts helped us with all questions and responded quickly. Simply great!

We found this property last year during a visit to Tirol and it was just perfect for our large group. We love how homey and comfortable everything was. Also that it is so easy to get to the bus or train station making logistics so much easier for comings and goings. Our hosts were very welcoming and quick to answer questions. The town is so friendly and all the people very welcoming. Thank you so much for the wonderful family memories we have made here!!

Was a perfect place to start our Austria vacation. Was great to stay in the apartment with kitchen so we could cook for ourselves after long days of skiing. And the spa areas were a great way to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming chalet in the mountains! There were six of us on the road and there was plenty of room – the size of the house was perfect for our group. The facility left nothing to be desired. Everything was very well maintained, high quality and it was really thought of everything you need for a relaxing stay. A special highlight was the very good view – from the chalet we had a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain landscape. The landlady was also extremely friendly and helpful, she welcomed us warmly and was always available for questions.

Beautiful, modern and extremely well-equipped house! The location overlooking the mountains was a highlight every day. Very well maintained and extremely clean. Nils is a great host who was also always available. Overall a fantastic stay that is really highly recommended!

Our family of 9 stayed in Kitzbuhel over New Years and throughly enjoyed this home. It was authentically decorated and furnished. The kitchen especially was well appointed with high end appliances and everything we could possibly need. The location was beautiful and walkable to town in about 25 minutes. Our host was responsive and accommodating. We would return definitely repeat a stay in future.

Great family home in an absolutely beautiful location. The home is well appointed, large, comfortable, and private with unbelievable views all around. Milian was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d gladly stay here again!

The house are beautiful and well located. You have light all day! We were there as a team for an offsite (4 people) and it was perfect for that. The large table under the high ceiling invited reflection, the view invited wandering. I would also very much like to come again privately. Inside, everything is ultra-modern (sound system, kitchen, bathrooms, sauna) and outside, there are beautiful seating areas on 2 terraces. You are right by the forest, where you can also hike small laps. For larger ones, however, you would have to drive a short distance to get to the hiking trails (as far as I could see). Take into account the opening hours of the huts! In total, there are 2 bathrooms, 1 of which has a toilet and an additional toilet. 2 living rooms (1 for sitting nicely and the other for cozy TV evenings, both totally large), 1 great, open kitchen with dining area. Two of the five bedrooms are larger, 3 are basic with bed and shelves. 5/5 stars in all possible categories!

We had a fantastic winter sports weekend in this beautiful chalet! The location near the lift was perfect, and after a long day on the slopes we were able to relax in the hot tub and steam room. The fully equipped kitchen left nothing to be desired, and the fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean and well maintained, and we felt completely comfortable. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back!

We stayed for a week in August (2 adults and 4 children). The house is excellent, very spacious and well equipped with amazing views across to the mountains from the main floor which includes the living areas and master bedroom. The pool is an added bonus and a good size. The location is great with many activities just a 5-10 mins drive away. Manuela was a wonderful host and we had a really enjoyable holiday. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

We really liked the Steinbock Lodge as a group of 8 people! You are accommodated in a picturesque landscape, in which you can go hiking extremely well and in which a lot can be discovered on your own 🏔️ We found it wonderfully quiet and relaxing to be in the small town away from the city, as you could really enjoy nature there. The amenities were as indicated and can be seen in the pictures - we felt right at home 🏠 The furnishings and features (such as underfloor heating or pellet stove) were a very big plus. Even with 8 people, we had no major problems with the bathroom layout, as 3 were available. Technically speaking, everything is really up to date (right down to the small details such as the labelled switches, drawers, etc.) with a rustic, homely interior. We definitely recommend the place and will also be happy to come back!

Our stay at the Steinbock was a complete success. The accommodation was clean, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need. We especially liked the quiet location with the magnificent view - perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and always easily accessible. We immediately felt welcome. The surrounding area also offers many great opportunities for hiking and exploring. We will be happy to come back!

It was a wonderful stay. We were there with 4 people and a dog. The place is very clean, the beds and towels were fresh and washed. 🫧 We liked the sauna in the bathroom best, which was extremely easy to use and the perfect relaxation after long days of hiking. 😍 The view (directly onto the reservoir with the mountains around) as well as the privacy was just as beautiful. However, you have to accept that the nearest supermarket, etc., is 17 km away. But we would take this over and over again for such a great place to stay.🥹 The house has everything you need.🤗 The communication was also great, as was the descriptions. There is no even better price-performance ratio. Thank you for this lovely getaway.❤️
