Cottage holiday rentals in Pamlico Sound

Very nice for a girls weekend get away. The neighborhood was quiet, and conveniently located to the things we wanted to do.

Me & my 3 boys spent 3 nights at this wonderful hideaway. Alex has everything you need in the kitchen. (Microwave handle was coming off ) but that is literally the only complaint other than hot tub wouldn’t warm up for us! Other than that. All the kitchen items you need, tons of space, beautiful clean, water front house. I swear you have views of the water from every single window in the house. Comfy beds, tvs functioning. Oh we couldn’t figure out retro gaming system and we have tech savvy boys. But who cares because the trip was about getting off screens. We kayaked and used the dock for fishing. My son caught a catfish, blue crabs, and a stingray. He really never left the dock. So peaceful. We want to come back!

Beautiful location!! The host was quick with responses and very safe area. The location is very close to the public access. Will be back in the future!!

This is our 2nd stay here, and we have loved both visits! The kids love the pool, we love to walk to the beach and to town. Such a great house in a great location!

Pictures don't really do it justice. It is much brighter and lighter inside than shown on Airbnb. Very cute house, would consider it again for future bookings. Back yard is an oasis and the hot tub is a perk!

My husband, dog, and I had an amazing stay here! The house was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. We accidentally locked ourselves out the first day and Whitney came to our rescue within 10mins! Location was very convenient and the neighborhood was nice. EV charger in the garage was also a big plus for us!

We had a very relaxing stay at this home! It was charmingly decorated and had enough space for 4 of us to spread out. Communication was clear and the hosts were responsive. The home was well located, convenient to quite a few restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at Maria and Steve's! Place was clean and as listed. Only tricky part was the house is across the highway from the beach access which meant having to drive and find parking or cross a very busy road.

The Flat Top on First is the perfect place for a beach vacation! Dustin and Karol have made sure you have everything you need during your stay, including toiletries! We could have gone with just our clothes and been just fine 😂. The beach is so close with easy access, and several grocery stores within 5 minutes. Dustin is also quick to answer any questions. 10/10!

This was a wonderful beach stay. Very close to the beach - we had not realized from the photos that you can see the beach from the deck. Really great beach stay with a half block walk to the beach and chairs and sun umbrella available while we were there. Cute decor - very nice house.

Great place and great host. The home was modern, comfortable, well equipped, and well kept. Relaxing space in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for a family of four, quiet street, close to bike trail and cute gazebo on the sound. Nice to have a fenced yard for our dog, though we mostly walked the neighborhood. Comfortable house, well stocked to meet any need ~ especially appreciated the options for coffee making. Easy drive to attractions & restaurants.

This was our second time staying at Diane’s beach cottage and it didn’t disappoint! We absolutely loved staying there! It was the cutest place with so much to do nearby. It was such a great, relaxing place and it had everything that we might need. Diane was so friendly and very responsive to any questions that I had. The house was perfect, very clean. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Mermaid Cottage. It was very kid friendly, clean, walkable to a great playground and the local curb market. Stacie was a great host and we’d absolutely recommend her place.

The cottage was perfect for us! We needed someplace with no stairs and easy access in and out. In addition to that, we got an adorable little cottage. It was clean, nicely decorated, bright, cheerful, relaxing and comfortable. There are sound views from windows on three sides of the cottage. It was located within a short drive of many restaurants, beaches and local Outer Bank activities. There were many thoughtful items around the cottage to help make the stay easy and stress free. Tanya, our host, was very responsive and proactive. She answered any questions and followed up to be sure her response had met our needs. We look forward to visiting the cottage again in the future! Maria’s cozy little house was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the backyard and her beautiful paintings. The beach is nearby, though it’s best to drive due to a busy intersection. The Wright Brothers’ Museum is just a short drive away, and Maria was incredibly helpful in recommending places to visit.

Great little place on the water! Beautiful river front property. Hosts are wonderful and very helpful! We came with our boat to do some fishing and they went over and above to make sure we were accommodated. Way more than most places we have visited! 100% recommend!

Our visit was just what my family was looking for! We wanted a quiet, comfortable and clean place to stay so we could relax and get away from day-to-day responsibilities. The home was clean and comfortable. The nearby road was a bit noisy but the hosts had left fans that were perfect for covering the noise at night!

This cottage was perfect for our family's spring break trip. It was peaceful, quiet, and a quick walk to the beach! The cottage itself was wonderful--clean, decorated wonderfully, and surprisingly spacious!

Probably my favorite Airbnb ever. The cottage is so comfortable and welcoming, a really relaxing energy. The woodwork is exquisite. The outdoor shower is awesome and so is the porch. You can walk to the beach and the sound. Would absolutely come back!

Our stay here was wonderful! We were within walking distance to the best parts of downtown Morehead City! Elizabeth was extremely accommodating, allowing for us to have both an early check in and a late check out. We had some trouble with the door lock but Elizabeth was able to rectify it very quickly! We would love to stay here again!

From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.

We loved our stay at the Boardroom! It was the perfect location for our OBX vacation- close to the bike along the sound, the beach, and lots of great restaurants and coffee shops. We cannot wait to come back for another visit!
