🌳 Our shepherd’s hut ‘De Lachende Specht’ is tucked away in the woods, offering peace and privacy. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into nature: to nearby sand dunes, lovely villages or wide open landscapes. The lively city of Breda is just 15 minutes by bike. The accommodation has a bathroom, cozy box bed and kitchenette. Enjoy the sounds of birds, playful squirrels and all the greenery around you. Unwind or head out and feel the energy of the outdoors, you’re in for a lovely stay!

Relax and unwind in this stylish accommodation. Your own cottage with every comfort for a relaxing stay. Spend the night in luxury, overlooking a creek and surrounded by nature. Here come the kingfishers! The IJsvogel Lodges are located within our small-scale holiday park, right by the river where you can swim, go canoeing and fish, among other things. It is in a rural location, with a supermarket about 1 km away. Feel free to bring your bike along for wonderful rides through the polders.

It's fully equipped with every luxury, and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea outside on the beautiful terrace with a hot tub. In the bathroom, you'll find a wonderful bath to unwind. The cottage is nestled in a wooded area, and we have similar properties adjacent to it, but each has its own private woodland. The minimum age for our guests is 25.

You can do it all in our cottage in the middle of the island of Hoeksche Waard. But Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Breda are also 30 minutes' drive away and can easily be visited from the location. The cottage is accessible by car via a private unpaved road and is surrounded by meadows.
