Chalet = 4 rooms: living room/kitchen: gas fire, combi-oven, Nespresso + cooking and eating utensils In the living room you can watch TV (Netflix - own log-in). The sofa quickly becomes a double bed (1m40x2m). Heating with pellet stove. In the bedroom there is a 2-person box spring (1m60x2m). Bathroom: toilet, walk-in shower, sink, hairdryer. 4th room with table football game. Due to Belgian legislation, you must bring your own linen (sheets & towels), pillows and duvet are provided. Hooistek is a cozy and fairly modern holiday home behind a rural, detached house, easy to reach from the Geel Oost exit of the E313. Hooistek has its own entrance, has free WiFi. The holiday accommodation includes a private sauna that can be booked separately. Breakfast is available at a small extra charge. Gerhaegen nature reserve is within walking distance; princely De Merode is nearby, as well as Averbode and Diest. Numerous cycling route networks crisscross the region.

The location is central yet quiet, so the station is around the corner and you can be in Herentals or Turnhout in 10 minutes, Antwerp in 30 minutes. For cyclists and hikers, this is definitely "the place to be"!

I am Hanne (musician and furniture maker) and live with my 2 sons in the cozy Herenthout. The cottage in our garden has been renovated in a unique way with as many recovered materials and furniture as possible. The furniture changes regularly and is also for sale! It is an open space with separate bathroom and toilet. The sleeping area can be closed off with a curtain.
