Captain's residence at Mjøsa (Totenvika)
Modern, maritime-style holiday home. The captain at Skibladner lived here for many years, and the house is full of ship history. Here you will find 4 bedrooms with a total of 9 beds, a large bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with a cozy wood burning stove. The house also has a heat pump to keep a pleasant temperature all year round. If you want breakfast we buy in and put in the fridge (850kr fixed price for the whole house - paid separately).

From July 2025, we can finally welcome to Hanshagan - an authentic homestead, closely restored in the 1920s style, but with modern comfort. The house has been recently restored with care: original materials are preserved, ancient craftsmanship traditions continued, and all with respect for the history of the place. Here you can experience life the way it was-without sacrificing warmth, hygiene, or convenience. Hanshagan is beautifully situated in Stange Vestbygd and offers views of fields, forest and Mjøsa.

We have renovated the old boy living room on the farm, and rent it out for short and longer stays. Pilgrims receive an extra discount, contact directly by SMS 97786500. The place is best suited for 2 adults, or family with 2 smaller children. The residence is located in the courtyard, but still shielded. It is a short walking distance to Mjøsa, you walk down in 5 minutes. You can swim there. The Pilgrim's Way goes right past the farm, and there are many other nice hiking opportunities by bike and on foot.

Villa Leonore: Cottage with beachfront on Helgøya
For those who really want to experience the best Weekend Island has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tramway director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach at Mjøsa. Lovely perennial bed and a private kitchen garden to help yourself to. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and cook delicious local and organic food, with the farm and area's own products. There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.

The house is charming and cozy and located right next to Mjøsa. Here you can wake up listening to the waves from the lake and see beautiful sunsets at the evening. Mjøsa is Norway's larges lake with great fishing. The house have a 120 meter private shore with a beach in the end. Perfect for kids (see picture for equipment). The ground is 5000 sqm so you have a lot of outdoor space. The house itself is 69 sqm. Ground floor consist of:livingrom, kitchen and bathroom. 2. floor consist of 2 bedrooms

Lovely cabin overlooking lake Mjøsa - 1h from Oslo
The cabin has fantastic views, surrounded by woods and beautiful nature. This simple, rustic and stylish cabin is great for couples, families, backpackers, people who are looking for a city break and want to experience Norwegian nature. A great place for a holiday, skiing in the winter, and also a quiet and peaceful place to work from, with fast WiFi. The cabin is overlooking the largest lake in Norway, in the village of Feiring. Approx. 60 minutes by car from Oslo, and 35 min from Oslo Airport

The staff cage belongs to the small farm Kollbækk. Large green areas and a dog farm with houses are available for the guests. The place is close to Mjøsa about 1 hour drive from Gardermoen, the air bus stops 200 m from us. Within 15 minutes there is Totenåsen with plenty of hiking opportunities winter as summer, Norwegian Horse Center Starum, Gjøvik and Toten golf club Sillongen, Gjøvik town with mountain hall and wheel steamer Skibladner. An hour drive to Mjøsbyene Lillehammer and Hamar.

1940s house in the middle of Toten
Authentic 1947 home. Worn, but spacious, bright and functional. Kitchen, bathroom/WC/laundry room plus two rooms separated by a sliding door downstairs. Two rooms upstairs. Renovation needed, but the bathroom and kitchen appliances are fairly new. It is possible to have 4 separate bedrooms. The kitchen dining table seats 6 persons comfortably. Firewood is free of charge. Next door is a nice convenience store!
