From July 2025, we can finally welcome you to Hanshagan – an authentic farmhouse, closely restored in 1920s style, but with modern comfort. The house has recently been carefully restored: original materials have been preserved, old craft traditions continued, and all with respect for the history of the place. Here you can experience life as it was – without sacrificing warmth, hygiene or convenience. Hanshagan is beautifully situated in Stange Vestbygd and offers views of fields, forests and Mjøsa.

Outside the door, you can hike in the forest, cycle, or enjoy the large plot with your own pizza oven, fruit trees, and berry bushes. Totenåsen offers numerous hiking trails in summer and fantastic ski trails in winter. It is a 10-minute drive to swimming in Lake Mjøsa. Grocery stores, pharmacies, etc., are 2 km away. The cabin has running water, electricity, and internet. 1,5 hrs from Oslo.

The house is charming and cozy and located right next to Mjøsa. Here you can wake up listening to the waves from the lake and see beautiful sunsets at the evening. Mjøsa is Norway's larges lake with great fishing. The house have a 120 meter private shore with a beach in the end. Perfect for kids (see picture for equipment). A great place for a holiday, skiing in the winter, and also a quiet and peaceful place to work from, with fast WiFi. The cabin is overlooking the largest lake in Norway, in the village of Feiring. Approx. 60 minutes by car from Oslo, and 35 min from Oslo Airport

The staff cage belongs to the small farm Kollbækk. Large green areas and a dog farm with houses are available for the guests. The place is close to Mjøsa about 1 hour drive from Gardermoen, the air bus stops 200 m from us. Within 15 minutes there is Totenåsen with plenty of hiking opportunities winter as summer, Norwegian Horse Center Starum, Gjøvik and Toten golf club Sillongen, Gjøvik town with mountain hall and wheel steamer Skibladner. An hour drive to Mjøsbyene Lillehammer and Hamar.
