Treetop cabin, Ringsaker Klatrehytta

The climbing cabin is built on Helgøya in a pine forest with fantastic views of Mjøsa and Skreifjella. Spring comes early with carpets of blue snow, while the ski season is significantly shorter than at the other tree-top cabins. The cabin was built in collaboration with Treehouse Masters and Helgøya Climbing Park. The construction was filmed for a 45-minute documentary shown on Animal Planet. The cabin is located on the outskirts of Helgøya Climbing Park, and as a guest in the treetop cabins you get a 10% discount in the park. The cabin has sleeping accommodation for 6 people

In this spacious and unique place, the whole family will be comfortable. The cabin is located by the water, with its own gate and fenced plot. There is a natural plot in the yard. It is a 100-year-old hand-built cabin that has previously been Høvern school. The cabin is located alone, without view from neighbors. There are good swimming and fishing opportunities. Rented to adult responsible people. Washing, bed linen and towels are included in addition to NOK 200 per person. The road is cleared all the way to the cabin in the winter.

Modern holiday home in maritime style. The captain of Skibladner lived here for many years, and the house is full of shipping history. Here you will find 4 bedrooms with a total of 9 beds, a large bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with a cozy wood-burning stove. The house also has a heat pump to keep a comfortable temperature all year round. If you want breakfast, we will buy it and put it in the fridge (NOK 850 fixed price for the whole house - paid separately).

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen bench, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

We have renovated the old boy living room on the farm, and rent it out for short and longer stays. The place is best suited for 2 adults, or a family with 2 smaller children. The home is located in the courtyard, but still shielded. It is a short walking distance to Mjøsa, you walk down in 5 minutes. You can swim there. The pilgrim's path goes right past the yard, and there are many other nice hiking opportunities by bike and on foot.
