Waterfront holiday rentals in Old Forge

We picked this spot to be a launching point for hiking etc. if we’d known how gorgeous the river is right here on Jonathan’s land, we would have built in more time in our trip at the Airbnb!

It was a perfect place for 2. The home was beautiful inside and out. The property was well maintained and attractive. The setting was stunning. Having kayaks available was a bonus. Inside, nothing was missed. Communication was clear and simple; they offered good suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely return!

We stayed at Alexandra's place for a few nights . The apartment is cozy and welcoming, very clean, with great art on the walls and good books on the shelves. Alexandra was very responsive and nice - she lent us her snowshoes, told us to park in her garage during the snowstorm to avoid being snowed in , offered good suggestions for local places to eat.

Cute and exceptionally clean apartment. Great location, walkable to attractions and restaurants. Very peaceful. Eileen was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.

Tracy was a great host and very communicative! If we are ever in the area again we’d love to book with her again.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and extremely comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy bedding to the fully stocked kitchen. The location was perfect—quiet, yet on water. The host was incredibly welcoming, providing us with helpful tips and making sure we had everything we needed. I truly felt at home and will definitely return on my next visit. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Charlie’s Haven. Everything was as promised. Sandra was so sweet and helpful. The place was immaculate. The lake and view are spectacular. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next trip back. We highly recommend a visit to this little slice of heaven!

We had a truly unforgettable family Easter weekend at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, spacious, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook our holiday meals together. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. The kids loved the backyard and outdoor area, while the adults appreciated the peaceful views and relaxing atmosphere, next to the fire pit and the lake. We also loved how pet friendly the home was, our furry family member had a blast too! Location wise, it was ideal close enough to stores and activities, but tucked away enough to enjoy quiet time together. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate, reconnect, and make memories. LJs place was exactly what we were looking for! We did some ice fishing which was better than anticipated. The house was clean and cozy. The rules were reasonable and LJ communicated timely. We will absolutely be back!

We had a great time at Rocky Lodge! The lakeside setting is unmatched. We loved fishing off the dock, swimming off the dock, paddling around the bay and listening to the loons. The house and boathouse were clean and comfortable, check-in and communication were easy. We'd like to come back!

Barbara’s peaceful cabin was absolutely gorgeous. We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful scenery and right next to the lake. The cabin is also only a short distance from the Lapland skiing center and therefore an ideal location for all cross country skiing fans. Barbara was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. We are hoping to come back in the summer

Amazing cozy spot with an incredible lake view. Went off-season with my girlfriend to enjoy ATV riding and we enjoyed our stay. You can sit by the campfire, and enjoy nature at night. Very quiet place perfect for nature lovers. The stargazing is also incredible!

Charlene was extremely responsive- low key, loved being welcomed into a cozy, family friendly environment.

This place was absolutely perfect for our weekend get away. So close to town and such a cute area to sit around and enjoy the area and family.

The condo is beautiful and perfect location! We liked having the beach right in the backyard and seeing the beautiful sunsets! Quick walk to everything in town. Plenty of bath and beach towels provided. My kids had a blast with the arcade game! Host is quick to respond. We would def book again at this house!

We had a great stay at Troy ’s Airbnd . It is a beautiful place, immaculately clean and a brilliant location. I would book again. Troy was great at communicating with us and checked we were OK during our stay. I will definitely book again .Highly recommended!

We have stayed in one of Troy's properties in the past and it was a great experience. This location did not disappoint. Beautiful view, easy beach access, spotless accommodations and hot tubs. The area in the off-season is very quiet but a few walkable restaurants were open and the Dollar General, which had everything you can think of. The property was generously stocked with everything we needed for the long weekend. I would highly recommend scooping this place up between Labor Day and Columbus Day if you can!
