Cabin holiday rentals in Old Forge

This place was a nice long weekend away. Very quiet, comfortable, and cozy. Not too far from civilization and many trails in the area. All in all, very charming and just what we were looking for.

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

This is the second time we stayed at one of Chris’ properties and we were not disappointed. We wanted a long weekend away to unwind, and unwind is what we did. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, good food, and some snowshoeing. We walked right outside, put our snowshoes on, walked to the end of the drive way, and turned left onto the trail that runs right behind the house. Chris was very responsive when reaching out, very thoughtful host. We look forward to renting from Chris again and highly recommend for anyone interested in visiting the area.

Kyle was a great host who responded quickly to any concerns we had. The instructions were very thorough, leaving no room for error or confusion. The house felt very cozy and had everything that was listed. It was definitely a great stay and will be recommending to others.

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

It was such a beautiful place to celebrate with our friend’s 30th birthday! Very clean and the Jacuzzi was great! The guys enjoy the pool table they had! Defiantly recommend anyone to stay there for a get away.

Loved staying at the Wheelhouse ! The house was perfect. Had everything we could possibly need and more. The property was so beautiful and peaceful. We loved sitting outside by the firepit listening to the creek next to us and the hot tub was an amazing plus ! We hope to be back !!

Awesome place to stay. We stayed for a salmon fishing trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house is nice and secluded from everything and very private. House was also very clean and whenever we needed anything Juanita was quick to respond and help us out!!

Our stay at Tiffany and Adam's cabin was the perfect destination for an anniversary weekend celebration! Tiffany was communicative, detail oriented and so sweet! We loved the serenity of the TR property, the white noise of the babbling creek and the cozy amenities of the cabin. Renting the sxs was a blast and was a great way to explore local trails as a family. An added bonus was having the flexibility to include our dog on vacation. We can't wait to return next year!!

Most beautiful little cabin by the water in a very private area, even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a great time with the kids. The place has everything you need and bedding is super confortable. Yonco welcomed us and shared some tips on where to eat and what to do. Definitely recommend!

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

Great place have stayed twice now, little issues each time but she got it fixed right up!

We stayed at Kasey's cabin for a last minute snowmobile trip. It was perfect! Very clean nice set up. Great location right on the trail we went late season and still were able to ride right out. If you are a 1st timer to Tug hill in the winter don't listen to the GPS if you're coming in from the south and just take 81n to 177. Thanks again for a great stay!!

The Cozy Cabin was the perfect weekend get away. Karen is a great host, everything was exactly as discribed.

This is a cozy place. We enjoyed the scenery altho it was covered in snow. And the temps dropped below 0. We stayed warm and cozy. Definitely would be a great place for a family to enjoy as a quiet getaway!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while we took care of some business in the area. The cabin is off the beaten path and has a cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a excellent stay at Paul’s place ( camp Seneca ) . Camp has totally been redone very well with all modern appliances, bathroom and other . It is a wonderful place to stay , private with so many things to do in the area . Beside the beautiful camp what stood out most was Paul’s level of service . He was easy to reach , accommodating and friendly . My personal opinion it was excellent service and Paul wants to make sure his guest have a great experience. I look forward to going back it’s a little treasure nestled into the Adirondack park . Thanks again Paul for great stay !

The cabin was a cozy place to stay. We loved ADK design. Had a great time.

Jade was incredibly friendly and very proactive. She sent our check-in information well in advance and told us we could check in early if we got in ahead of schedule. All the necessary amenities were provided and in good working order. Jade always responded immediately to questions, checked in on us to make sure we got situated and followed up after we left. She even offered us the camp for another night because the roads were closed due to a state of emergency. I can’t say enough about her hospitality.

Just got back from this tiny cabin in Old Forge, and it was such a vibe! Super cozy and felt like a little home in the woods. I loved chilling on the porch and soaking in the nature. The town was super cute and perfect for walking around, tons of restaurants and places to shop. Not to mention the lake too! If you're looking for a chill getaway, this place is definitely worth it!!!

Maria’s place by the lake was perfect! wanted to take our 3yr old somewhere new and this place was perfect! the small lake with the kayaks and paddle boat were a big hit and let’s not forget the screened in trampoline made our lives easy come night time( couldn’t keep the kid awake for once if we tried) .. Maria was very responsive and super friendly letting us even stay most of the day on our checkout day! could go on and on about the place it was a great time and we highly recommend it especially if you have kids!

everything was great. host was Super Friendly and helpful. we were there for ATVing and the spot was super convenient and right up the road from the trails.
