Holiday rentals with lake access in Old Forge

The entire area is absolutely beautiful. The patio and living room areas were amazing for board games and cards. We were always happy to come back to the place at the end of our festivities.

This is a very nice Adirondack camp, with beautiful Long Lake right in the backyard. The house was very well equipped and clean. We found everything we needed. Large windows offer a great view of Long lake. Our host was very responsive. One thing to know is that if you are staying in this house in cold weather you may hear mice in the attic, but this is not unusual in Adirondack camps such as this one. Overall, we recommend this house on beautiful Long Lake to anybody looking to stay in the area.

We had a great time at Rocky Lodge! The lakeside setting is unmatched. We loved fishing off the dock, swimming off the dock, paddling around the bay and listening to the loons. The house and boathouse were clean and comfortable, check-in and communication were easy. We'd like to come back!

We had a snowy visit, but we enjoyed the house and all that it had to offer. We will be back for sure.

Our stay near Otto Lake was just what we were looking for: a family get away to celebrate the holiday. While the weather kept us from our outdoor plans, we were grateful for the spacious and comfortable interior to share a massive meal and enjoy each other’s company.

It was the perfect location between the ski lodges: Snow Ridge and McCauley Mtn. The rooms were cozy and the kitchen was the perfect size for cooking dinners.

Great place to gather with friends! We had a great time. It is close to everything in town. We definitely plan to book again!!

We booked this cabin for a girls weekend getaway. It was lovely. The cabin is clean and well laid out. The kitchen area was actually a bit bigger than it looked in the pictures. The dock, the deck and the fire pit area have lots of comfortable seating to enjoy the views of the lake. Get up for the sunrise, it was beautiful. Just a short drive into Old Forge for restaurants and shopping and very close to the Bald Mountain Trailhead. Our first night we grabbed a bite at the tavern next store. The food and the service were both great! The host was very responsive and answered all our questions. I would definitely book this cabin again. Thanks for a great weekend!

We were n town for a family funeral, but wanted to enjoy the company of extended family while in town. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Beautiful area—so conducive to reflection and yet perfectly set up for communing with family. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute and exceptionally clean apartment. Great location, walkable to attractions and restaurants. Very peaceful. Eileen was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a very relaxing stay at Lenny abd Boka's place. The driveway was very icy but Lenny was out every morning to put sand around our car so we wouldn't slip and fall!

Tracy was a great host and very communicative! If we are ever in the area again we’d love to book with her again.

A lovely little spot in the heart of what my wife and I have termed the “sleepy side of the Adirondacks”. Nice, private, up to date apartment. Close proximity to local attractions and—most importantly to us—all the wilderness you could ever want. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Ally and Joe!

Excellent rental and great communications with Stephanie. We loved the back yard, docks, kayaks and fantastic views. Easy walk to some of the restaurants and beach area. Would certainly rent again and hope to return to Sylvan Beach during the summer months when more is open. Thank you :)

Had an amazing stay at this home. Very short walking distance to gorgeous lake. Close by the Adirondacks for sightseeing. Free of clutter and well furnished. Hot tub was definitely the shinning start amongst the rest of the amenities listed. Each room had its own smart tv just as described and new heater/AC unit. Very private and peaceful location. Ultimately, we had a very relaxing stay and left full of content and satisfaction.

We had a great stay for my friend’s birthdays. Rick and Jenn were so responsive and even got someone to plow the drive way for us during the snow. It was cozy and welcoming and we will definitely be back in the summer!

Very relaxing and comfortable lake side house. We were right on the lake with beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. Spent some time paddle boarding and kayaking. My husband is an avid bird watcher and enjoyed all the wildlife and especially the loons and ducks.

We had a very peaceful stay at Sleepy Loon cottage. Enjoyed the quietness and saw lots of loons, geese, ducks and even saw a beaver. It was cold and windy so didn't get to use kayaks as planned but still had a great time. Lori and Mark were great hosts. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place this is it! The cottage is exactly as pictured.

We were so excited to spend a peaceful weekend in the Adirondacks, and this is the perfect place! The living area was warm and cozy, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was clean and updated. The seating was comfortable and the smart TV was a good size for the space. The beds were also comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful in the snow, which was plowed regularly during a two-day snow storm. We were just a few minutes drive from town, which always has lots to do. The grocery store is well-stocked and there are lots of fun shops. The host was very clear with instructions in the listing, and very accommodating while we were there. She even sent someone to make sure that we could all make it up the driveway in the snow storm (which was no problem at all for us with AWD). We wanted to go back to the cabin as soon as we got home, since we already missed the peace, quiet, and beauty. We will certainly go back again. Thank you for having us!

Perfectly described and plenty of space. Had the driveway and walkway plowed before our arrival. Beautiful scenery; right on the lake. Walkable to a couple of restaurants. Good space for a large group, open floor plan. Nice amenities like coffee in the kitchen; and shampoo in the bathrooms.

My husband and I just needed a weekend getaway to do some kayaking. Mary's place was perfect, lots to do in the area, even attended a concert on the water on Brantingham Lake. Everything was clean and easy to find. Had a nice fire outside a couple nights, went out to eat at local restaurants that were recommended. Would highly recommend and would love to go back when we can squeeze in another weekend away from home!
