Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ohrdruf

Beautiful cozy house with sauna and garden and ideally located to explore the area. We felt super comfortable, the check-in with the key box was very convenient and easy and communication with Diana very friendly and uncomplicated. We would book the Swedish house again right away!

It is a unique opportunity to live in a 500-year-old perfectly renovated old rectory for a while, which we have enjoyed very much.

Excellent, clean and spacious apartment. Loved the area around with the Storks nest and other birds of prey flying around.

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a holiday in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

The stay was really nice. The property is immersed in nature and has a lot to offer. Our highlights were the heated outdoor hot tub and the lower fireplace. When the weather is nice, you can hike wonderfully in the immediate vicinity, in bad weather the accommodation offers plenty of distraction. Highlighted is the protection of the property and the accommodation. I haven't felt so safe in any place so far. In addition, Manuela was very quick to respond to my messages and always a solution ready. Thanks for that!

We had a wonderful stay in Bettina’s house. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was incredibly peaceful. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden for breakfast and dinner admiring the beautiful view. Bettina was very friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions for day trips using the local tourist card. We rather carelessly left a personal possession behind and Bettina very kindly sent it back to us. We would really recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay here!

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. In the description, it was only missing that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best wishes and thank you for the wonderful days in Thuringia.

A short trip took me to Eisenach and to Jasmin's beautiful and spacious studio apartment. I felt very welcome in the large and inspiring living space. Being greeted with flowers and other treats is really a nice gesture. In addition, an extensive assortment with detailed recommendations for the stay was very helpful. A big advantage of the residential area in the quiet villa district of Eisenach for me was the wonderful starting point for hikes in the Thuringian Forest and near Wartburg and in the centre of Eisenach. Check-in went smoothly with the help of a key box. Even though I couldn't get to know Jasmin personally, the contact was very friendly and proactive. I would like to come back in the future because the accommodation and surroundings are very inviting and I benefited a lot from this stay there.

The place was very clean and nothing was broken for the first time, everything worked ,Wi-Fi,TV,toaster, Coffee maker,vacuum cleaner,hair dryer, hot water etc.... Cleaning products ,toilet paper ,Zewa were provided. Tea ,coffee pods, oil,vinegar ,sugar,salt all there . Furnishings also very good everything you need simply bed is super comfortable everything together top with star* you can also say exemplary run apartment. Super central and beautiful place to stay. Perfect for exploring Gotha. The castle and the city centre can be reached in just a few steps. Sabine is very nice and easy to reach. Always happy to come back:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was super clean, very well equipped and has a nice terrace. Of course, the sauna is outstanding, which we liked to use. The place is highly recommended!

There were four of us in Peter's apartment for two nights and felt very comfortable. We were greeted in a very friendly way and found an apartment where you feel right at home. It has everything you need. I'm sure we'll be happy to come back

The room at Petra's was awesome. Everything is within walking distance, and we even received bus tickets from her. The room was pleasantly large and the bathroom modern, almost the same size as the actual bedroom. Petra herself was very friendly Balou a sweet dog❤️. We will definitely come back again.

Everything you need to spend a few nice days in the Thuringian Forest. The accommodation is a self-contained flat in a larger detached house, but you don't get too much from the neighbours. The apartment is tastefully furnished and was really sparkling clean. Contact with Jörg was friendly and uncomplicated. There's nothing to complain about. A good starting point for local hikes.

The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished, the location to the city centre perfect. The only downside: the supermarket next door was supplied from 6 a.m., so our days started quite early... The contact with Sebastian was great! Everything invites you to come back.

You immediately feel at home in the apartment. Everything was as described and everything is also shown in the photos - only in reality it was even more beautiful. A great city apartment, it doesn't get any more central. Very good that a parking space is available - would otherwise be difficult in the old town. Our dog also felt comfortable - since he is very vigilant, there were of course some situations at the beginning due to the noise transmission, which he had to get used to - but that also worked out! All around a perfect stay in a great, lovingly furnished apartment right in the historic old town of the beautiful city of Bad Langensalza! We'll be back!

We had a nice week stay at Angelika's. Shops are nearby, the tram station is also just 5 minutes away. It's a nice, privates apartment with all sorts of kitchen equipment and toys for kids. We can only recommend a stay at Angelika's! 😊

Great location in the middle of Erfurt. Great restaurants, scenic and great transportation. Space was perfect for what we needed and it was very clean when we arrived (like new). Very easy to communicate with host.

The stay with Julia and Oliver was very relaxing. We have proactively received all the information. Communication was very fast and friendly. Julia personally welcomed us, showed us everything and gave us great restaurant tips. The accommodation was sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need. In addition, a pretty terrace invited you to relax. I can only recommend the place.

We regularly use this accommodation because it is generously sized for three people, has a small breakfast garden, is close to the centre and offers everything we need. We'd also like to come back in 2026.
