Our guest house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest near Oberhof and Rennsteig (about 3 km), directly on the idyllic Lütsche reservoir, an approx. 14-hectare swimming lake. Right behind the house at the edge of the forest, you can relax wonderfully at the private barbecue area, and in summer the lake in front of the front door offers refreshing cooling with excellent water quality. Guest cards are also offered for anglers. The house is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing tours.

Modern, fine and in the middle of it all - the 5* vacation apartment (opened in 2022) with high-end amenities in a completely renovated former blacksmith workshop. The fully equipped "Werkstatt" vacation apartment - on the first floor with 40 m² for 2 people is located at an altitude of 440 m on the southern slope of the Thuringian Forest in the winter sports and vacation region of Oberhof. Surrounded by wonderful hiking opportunities, it is also the starting point for numerous tourist highlights in the green heart of Germany.

Das 107 qm große Ferienhaus bietet auf zwei Etagen ein Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche, sowie darunter ein Schlafzimmer mit anschließendem Ankleideraum und ein Bad. Die großzügig ausgestattete Küche bietet die Möglichkeit sich komplett selbst zu verpflegen. Das komfortable Schlafzimmer Ist mit einem 1,80 m breiten Doppelbett ausgestattet. Falls nötig ist ein weiterer Schlafplatz schnell auf dem Schrankbett gerichtet. Als besonderes Highlight befindet sich eine Sauna in dem Ferienhaus.

Relax with the whole family (including your dog) in this cozy crispy cottage in the Thuringian Forest. The listed house on the bike path in Georgenthal offers peace and space for relaxation. The enclosed property with its 200-year-old oaks invites you to linger with a fire pit, Thüros grill and seating. In summer and winter, numerous activities are possible in the surrounding area: dinosaur trail, gondola pond, swimming pool, spa park with a wonderful ice cream shop and playground...

Vacation home “Gina” on the edge of the forest

The idyllically located vacation home with a size of about 50 m² has a living room with open kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with space for 4 people and a dining area. The cottage is located in the climatic health resort of Finsterbergen directly on the edge of the forest in a small bungalow settlement. Because of its location it provides an ideal starting point for hikes (Rennsteig). The leisure pool with mini golf and volleyball and a tennis court are about 200 m away.

The house is modernly decorated and the garden offers plenty of space to spread out. In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof. In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use them, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in summer by arrangement.

Our apartment in a historic watermill is particularly suitable as a starting point for hiking and other activities in the untouched nature of the Thuringian Forest. With a successful combination of rustic ambiance and modern comfort, we offer you the perfect place to relax for restful days and nights. The apartment is located in Georgenthal/OT Herrenhof and was recently converted and renovated. There is a kitchen-diner, living room, bedroom and bathroom.

Vacation on the Rennsteig The surrounding area offers numerous hiking trails that are perfect for exploring nature. In the quiet area, time can be spent in a pleasant atmosphere, while a variety of leisure activities are available nearby. The Rennsteig is 23 minutes away, Oberhof to the winter sports arena is 25 km Friedrichroda health resort 6 km, Eisenach to Wartburg 32 km, Erfurt 40 km Weimar 59 km Gotha with the historic castle 12 km.
