Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Oak Island

Our family of 4 adults completely enjoyed this home. Check in was easy. The location is convenient to Publix, Food Lion, beach shops and everything in between. The home was exceptionally clean, quiet, and relaxing with all the essentials included. Beds were comfortable and linens and towels were of nice quality. LR was spacious, stylish and inviting. The kitchen was well appointed. We did not go out to the beach, but the garage space contained everything we would have needed and more for a beach day. Terri arranged a golf cart for us. It was there and waiting for us upon arrival. It was in excellent condition. Terri gave us several recommendations on places to eat. From breakfast, lunch, and dinner to even the best places for ice cream. Terri checked in with us daily to make sure we were satisfied. We had a lovely dinner at Island Way. Was an upscale, casual restaurant. Our meal was heavenly. Lots of crab, scallops and shrimp in one dish. We will be back. Terri was the best host!!

This was our second time staying at the Blue Pearl; it's a great place for young families and fur babies. Everything was exactly as the description stated, and the host was responsive and friendly. While this location is a long walk from the beach, it's a nice, private getaway if you're looking for a quiet street nearby the ocean. Highly recommend.

We come to Oak Island every year and this house was by far our favorite we have ever stayed at and plan to come back here next year! The mattresses are so comfortable, the house was so clean, comfortable and cozy that it was a joy to come back to every day and it truly felt like a luxurious vacation. Every amenity was top notch, and we truly wanted for nothing while staying here. Having direct access to the beach, with an outdoor shower with hot water, and all of the beach chairs and sunshades you need was just incredible. We had the best time- thanks again!!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Our family has stayed here several times and we have loved our stay every time. The communication is always great! The house is always beautiful - with everything you could possibly need.. and then some! The house is in the perfect location! Such a quick walk to the beach! I love taking walks in the morning in this neighborhood- with the beautiful Oak trees! It is truly a gem!!

This was the perfect stay for the weekend of my daughter’s wedding! The location seemed to be right in the middle of everything we needed! Though on the other side of the street from ocean front homes, the ocean was still very visible and clear to hear! This will be the first place we look for when returning to the area!

We love the pink flamingo! This is our second time staying at Cindy‘s home. Great location, spacious house. I truly love that. It’s a home away from home, when you reach for something, it’s almost there in the kitchen. Very equipped to make many meals. Our college age boys and wiener dog had a blast! Tons of games as well! We already booked for our next stay.

Our stay was just what we needed. Relaxing and comfortable. We loved the front porch and our host was wonderful! We look forward to book another trip sometime soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and had very positive interactions with both Jane and Scott. The place was clean and cute and exactly as it was listed. The floorplan was perfect for our family of 5. It was easy to get to and we felt right at home. Despite the house being on a pretty main road we didn’t feel that the traffic noise was unbearable. Would definitely stay again in the future!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

This condo is a peaceful, hidden gem! Views from the front and back deck and a perfect little beach right across the street. We loved it!

Thank you for having us. Your home is a great stay for families and it’s nice that you allow dogs. Hosts are very responsive and will fix whatever issues might arise. Also, they leave you be and let you have complete control of the place. The pool is very nice and the screened in porch too. House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. My only wishes were that there was better grass in the yard and around the pool area for dogs. Also, that the house didn’t have the faint smell of cigarette smoke. Aside from that, our stay was excellent and we would visit again. Thank you! We appreciate it. ❤️

This is our second time staying here. Our host is nothing short of AMAZING. Always responsive and friendly. The place is always clean easy it get to and checking in was simple. We will for sure stay here again.

this place was everything that we had hoped it would be. only complaint is we are not pet people and this place obviously was very pet friendly. the host is amazing with responding to every request politely and timely. we will definitely be staying with them again especially if they have a no pets property.

This was the prefect place for a quick weekend getaway! Host was very easy to communicate with and had a lovely home to stay in! Close access to several public beach access along with the pool! Definitely will be going back in the future again!

it was the perfect setting for our family vacation with our adult children and their significant others. In fact, it was the perfect back drop on the dock for my son to propose to his girlfriend! wonderful memories here! peaceful and beautiful setting and short drive to the beach.

One of my favorite AirBNB stays. The house is on the third row from the ocean and is an easy walk to the beach, even with kids and a dog. The house was generously stocked with everything we needed for 5 days. We loved the beach supplies and the comfy porch. We would love to stay here again.

Great place to stay with my parents and in-laws. Super convenient to Publix and other restaurants. We did rent a golf cart but beach access was walkable. My dog loved the front porch in the mornings and evenings since it was gated off. Would stay here again.

I love the way this space was decorated! I felt right at home. The screened in porch and fenced in back yard were perfect for traveling with my pup. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to spend time on Oak Island!

This house was perfect for the two of us and our dogs. Right across the street from the beach with great beach access. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the ocean in the afternoons. House was very clean. There are many pots pan, dishes, and other kitchen amenities with great labeling. We are already trying to book again.

Great place, beach house energy!! Walkable to the beach, nice dock at the end of the road. Close to great restaurants and still convenient to Holden & Southport (25-30 min drive) we went to both for dinner. Also has great amenities with the beach equipment they have for guest, helped us as we didn’t come fully prepared as we normally do! Johnny (their Pup) was a sweet touch to say hey to when he was out with his people, the hostess, whom are both very friendly!!!! :) I’d recommend this house to anyone to stay at!

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

The property location was SO convenient - steps from the beach, walkable to restaurants and shops, and came with all the things needed when going to and from the beach (chairs, beach umbrella, wagon, hose to wash fee, etc.). We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck looking out at the beach while we ate or read a book or just talked. The dogs loved the place too and we appreciated that the couch was covered for them to lay on and relax. While the bathrooms are small, the water pressure was great and everything worked fine. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what we needed to cook and eat in. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and not onerous. I loved having the sliding door from the bedroom to the back deck and being able to look out at the ocean while laying in bed. The hosts were both super responsive with any questions we had. We'll definitely be back!
