A perfect weekend getaway where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the peaceful back patio, relax then take a short 7 minute walk to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. There's an outdoor shower, parking for 2 cars, washer/dryer, and a sleep number mattress to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. 2 bdrm, 2 1/2 bth oceanfront duplex with 3 pools and tennis courts! Bed and Bath linens included! Private driveway for Golf cart rental permitted. Sorry, strict no pet policy. Sat -Sat weekly rentals in summer season. PLEASE NOTE: All three pools are for our guests to use and are maintained thru the HOA and we do not have any control over exactly when they open (Usually April 1st ) or if any of them closes for any reason. No refunds will be given if any of the pools are closed temporarily.

Wilmington's "Jungle Room"

We would like to extend a warm Southern welcome to all of our Guests staying in Wilmington's "Jungle Room." The separate Guest room is set in a beautiful tropical garden full of interesting and fascinating plants-palms, staghorn ferns, colorful bromeliads, and many more. One of our hobbies is propagating these plants because of their beauty and overall dramatic effect. If we've done it right, you can easily imagine you are in a tropical rain forest right here in Southeastern NC!

Quiet Carriage House in Wilmington.

When staying at the Carriage House, the beach and Wilmingtons' attractions are yours for the taking. The Carriage House is located in the Princess Place Neighborhood, next to Burnt Mill Creek -a bird watchers paradise. It is 1.5 miles to Downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk and 7 miles to the Beach. I have crafted the Carriage House from reclaimed materials. Enjoy the guest hot tub and fire table. Snowbirds and travel nomads know that Wilmington is wonderful year round!

The ceilings range from 6 ft 5", dipping lower at the roof lines! Private entrance on the side of the home. 1 mile from the downtown riverwalk, 8 miles from Wrightsville Beach, & in the center of the inner-city/downtown area. The historic Market Street is 2 blocks over, which heads both downtown & to the beach.
