Beachfront holiday rental in Oak Island

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

Perfect location! Just a few steps to the beach on a coded private walkway. Within easy walkable distance to the boardwalk for us & our small dog. Britts donuts has always been one of my favorite places! Condo was very clean. The king bed was really comfy. Amanda messaged after we checked in to make sure everything was going good & that we didn't have any issues with anything. I would highly recommend this condo.

Great place to stay! Jarrod and his wife were very friendly and responsive with any questions on the app. They even let us check in early. Accommodating bikes was so thoughtful and fun for us as we biked to coffee places and lunch. We kayaked to palm tree island and that was so much fun! It’s also a great location to walk to the beach as well! The balcony was so peaceful in the morning and at night. 10/10 experience and first time vacationing to Wilmington. Will 100% come back!

Overall, this was a great experience. She had clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was a short walk from the beach and it was cute and cozy!

My family and I enjoyed our weekend at Skipper’s place. It was a nice area in a wonderful friendly neighborhood. The walk to the beach wasn’t very long and the place had all the amenities you could need. Would recommend to a couple staying in the area!

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Gorgeous views of the ocean, easy access to the beach, walk to grocery stores and restaurants. The bottom of the house is basically a big sandbox that our 4 year old and dog could play in all day. Peaceful and relaxing vacation. We’d stay here again!

This was by far the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! The owner thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and stress-free. So many little extras and perks that weren’t even mentioned in the description. The photos don’t do it justice! The back covered porch is really large and the views from it are wonderful. And the front porch is very spacious also, with nice benches lining the sides that would seat a lot of people. Just a few steps and you’re on the walkway to the beach also! The furniture in the living room, and the beds, are amazingly comfortable. The outdoor shower is really nice - so spacious and clean! The owner is very nice and super responsive. He really does care about you having a nice stay in his lovely home!

Great little beach house, it was cozy and relaxing. We stayed for 6 nights and it had everything we needed for a great beach vacation. This was the cleanest AirBnB I have stayed in at CB. It was an easy 6-7 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. The patio is so relaxing in the morning and at night. We would definitely stay again.

We had an incredible stay at Katie’s place. Such a great location, beautiful and comfortable. Katie has thought of everything to help you relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. She was easy to communicate with and accommodating when we wanted to add an extra day. Definitely plan to be back soon

This condo was perfect for a quick little get away for the family! There was plenty of room and having a pool and being beach front was perfect with the little one. Being downtown helped as well as it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Tori was very responsive and helped us as best as possible when we needed to reach out to her. We will definitely be looking to stay here again if we are able!

Chad was fantastic! Super sweet and attentive! Place felt bigger in person! Loved the way it was decorated and glitter ceilings was a nice touch! Loved the location and easy beach access! Would stay again!

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week at Wendy & Jeff's Seascape. The place is EXACTLY like the photos, the view from the balcony is a dream!! Waking up to the ocean sounds every morning is something we will never forget. The apartment is very well-stocked with all the items you need to enjoy the beach, clean up afterward (lots of hot water and good shower pressure!) and cook a delicious meal (plenty of kitchen gadgets). Very easy to walk around the neighborhood, up to the pier for quick eats, or less than a mile to the little mini-mart. Parking is easy. Area is safe. The pool area across the street was clean and fun too! The hosts gave excellent, clear instructions for arrival/departure and even checked in on us via the app during our stay. A great place by the beach. Phenomenal view of the ocean with easy access to the beach. The descriptions matched perfectly. Place was spotless clean and contained all necessary amenities. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

The view was beautiful and Kristen was a great host. My husband had a kidney stone attack the day before we left and she was willing to work with us if we had to stay another night but he felt well enough to leave the next day as he had a doctor‘s appointment scheduled the next day. The view was spectacular!!

We had a fantastic week at John's place with our family for spring break. It is a quiet area of the island. The beach is just a few steps away and the view from the deck is beautiful. It was the perfect place for a family of four. We fell in love with Oak Island and hope to be back very soon!

Denise has thought of everything. Her condo is absolutely perfect, a very private and peaceful place. The pictures are accurate and in person it’s even better. My best friend and I have been going on beach trips for 9 years, so we have seen many beach houses. We know what we want and we FINALLY found one we are returning to next year for our 10th to celebrate 40 years of friendship. I can’t think of a better place for it. ♥️ Denise is very detailed with YOUR experience. She has literally thought of all your needs and the home is emasculate. I cannot say enough about this GEM. It was clean, modern, stocked and comfortable. The view was AMAZING. The privacy was incredible. A total reset from “adulting”. I cannot say enough except STAY HERE, STOP LOOKING! Beautiful property with direct access to the beach. Spotless interior with a well appointed kitchen and incredibly comfortable beds. We've stayed at dozens of Air BnBs and this one is fantastic! Communication with host was excellent. Highly recommend this property.

Our family of 4 loved our stay at the oceanfront bungalow! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the modern updates and cute decor :) You can't beat the location and views! Gwynne and her team were super friendly and responsive. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Oak Island and we will definitely be back one day :)

My family all loved Charlie’s house! It was a great layout for adults chatting around the kitchen bar while kids had room to play. Kitchen was well equipped and furniture was comfortable. Having the linens in plastic wrap was a nice touch and felt very clean and safe. The beach was really nice in front of the house. Climbing over the dunes gave us a good workout, but also gave us privacy from beach walkers, etc. Hoping to rent here again!

We come to Oak Island every year and this house was by far our favorite we have ever stayed at and plan to come back here next year! The mattresses are so comfortable, the house was so clean, comfortable and cozy that it was a joy to come back to every day and it truly felt like a luxurious vacation. Every amenity was top notch, and we truly wanted for nothing while staying here. Having direct access to the beach, with an outdoor shower with hot water, and all of the beach chairs and sunshades you need was just incredible. We had the best time- thanks again!!

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy’s place. The house was clean, didn’t have a bad smell, and without stains. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking items we needed throughout our stay. We were steps away from the beach, which was great and the views were amazing. The house is located in a perfect spot. A couple miles from the point to view sunsets and 8 miles to restaurants and shops. The house is also located in between 2 public beach access points so the beach area behind the house was never busy with other beach goers. We appreciated the baby and kid items at the house for our family. Our only complaints were that the wifi wasn’t very fast, and the walk path to the beach was a little weedy. Overall this was the perfect house and beach spot for our family vacation. Check in and checkout instructions were simple and Sandy was very helpful when we had questions and easy to communicate with. We have already recommended this house to others and would love to go back.

The house was immaculate! From living quarters, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, screened porch and everything in between it truly felt like no corner was missed and as a mom of 2 young kids that was such a relief to walk into. There were beach and pool items that were actually usable and not rusted and salt water rotted like your typical rental spots. The location was perfect. Far enough from the main road to be private, but close enough to take the golf cart or walk anywhere you’d need to go. Mary was communicative, thankful and kind. I would not hesitate to rent here again.
