Sit quietly in the evening with a glass of wine, around the brazier watching the stars appear, after you have enjoyed the many activities that Mangawhai has to offer. Beach walks, swims, surfing, golf, or any of the many bush walks or local weekend markets.

Dining can be inside however with the most breathtaking views overlooking Mangawhai, you would want to be on the decks. Dishwasher, Air-conditioning and a well stocked kitchen should you wish to stay in. The house is very secluded and private. Mangawhai Luxury is perfect for you to come and relax while taking in all of the sites of magical Mangawhai.

Kaiwaka, the little town of lights, has great cafes but is also perfectly situated only 15 minutes from Mangawhai with the surf beaches.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is in Lake View Estate, a gated community. Accommodation sleeps 2 or 4 using our comfy sofa bed. Estate is a few minutes drive from Mangawhai Village and 15mins from the surf beach. Facilities include walking tracks around the lake. Views of Mangawhai and our awesome sand dune can be seen from the property’s driveway and on Lake View walks. Vistas are of rolling hills and there are still some cows on the property. A lovely restful country escape awaits our guests.

Waterfall lodge is centrally located 6 mins to Sandspit Marina & Brick Bay, 8 mins to Snells Beach, 7 mins to Warkworth & 10 mins to Matakana. A 130m2 renovated lodge nestled in amongst virgin native forest, 3 waterfalls, several acres of private land on the river front next door to large private estates. Unwind and listen to the waterfall and birdsong in the large hot tub then head out to see Matakana Coasts world class restaurants and white sandy beaches.
