Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Northland Region

We had the most wonderful weekend! Nick & Jasmine had thought of everything! The place was spotless and had all the things you need so thoughtfully put together. Such a stunning spot in the bush - the hot tub was divine! They were so responsive to messages & all the instructions were so easy to follow. We had a wonderful weekend and created some truly beautiful memories in this stunning home. The fireplace was a lovely touch, especially during the chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen was modern, stylish and very practical, with a massive island bench that worked perfectly for our group. It made cooking and sharing meals together so easy and enjoyable. The hosts were readily available through the Airbnb app whenever we had questions, and they graciously allowed us a slightly later check-out as we were having such a beautiful weekend. The instructions for using the house facilities and checking out were clear and really helpful. The spa pool was amazing and added an extra layer of relaxation to an already perfect weekend. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

We had a truly magical time staying at Karl’s hidden gem on the beach front, we were blessed with stunning sunrises and sunsets from one mountain to another over the sea, we felt right at home here, the beachfront was truly spectacular, private and the home was so cozy and so special to be in, we are very grateful for the experience, we had the best time with lots to do and explore in the area, we were constantly blown away by how beautiful and special it was

The house was exactly as described. Excellent outdoor hosting facilities. Short walk to restaurants and very handy to the golf course.

Serene & tranquil with a clear elevated view of the sea. You can watch the sunrise with a hot coffee from the deck. The spa was great. The house is huge and has spacious living and bedrooms. The family loved the place and wished we had booked for longer. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mangawhai Trap House! The home was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed baking marshmallows and pizza in the outdoor pizza grill. It was such a fun experience for the whole family. The kids already miss the place! Everything was smooth and easy, and we’d definitely love to come back. Thanks so much for having us!

Lovely spot with the river right there. Spa pool nice to look at stars at night. Lots of bedrooms for family groups. Enjoyed the table tennis. Good location handy to everything.

We had a fantastic Mum's weekend away!! The house and amenities were perfect for what were needed. The spa and sauna were both so awesome and relaxing. Natasha was a great host and the ability to have early check-in and late check-out helped us make the most of our time! The house was lovely and clean with everything we needed. I will be back again, just looking at dates with another group of friends!

We really enjoyed our stay. Carina went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Enjoyed the little touches, well stocked kitchen, games. Highlight was watching the stars whilst enjoying the warmth of the spa pool. Thank you Carina for letting us into your home. Whangamateau is a beautiful area, with many little walks to enjoy.

The House has incredible views looking out over the bay. It has a great kitchen and living area. The hot tub and pool are large and clean. And the BBQ was an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful, peaceful location. House was spotless and had everything you needed. Multiple outside zones to enjoy the nature and water views. Super private and only a 7 min drive to the heart of Russell.

This house is absolutely stunning. It sits on a private beach with magnificent sea views and a big deck looking out over the ocean. It’s surrounded by native bush, loads of birds and a feeling of privacy & serenity. The ocean-facing doors and windows all open up so it has a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. There’s a lovely hot tub with a sea view too! Downstairs, there are the living spaces and upstairs, the bedrooms. The bedrooms are lovely - three large rooms with double (maybe queen or king??) beds, as well as two ‘kids rooms’ with twin beds and/or bunks. Two of the larger double rooms have private balconies & ensuites. It’s a beautiful & delightful house. Very well appointed. Perfect for a larger group, close to Matakana, Omaha and all of the lovely things to do there. We’ll be back! Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

We had the most wonderful relaxing stay here at Mick’s, it was serene and private with beautiful views of the hills and bush. The hot tub was to die for and I have had so many people asking me where this beautiful kitchen was! Lovely lovely stay, will definitely be back and a few of my friends are already planning to stay here hehe

Amazing secluded location right on the river. We loved the remote get away and the property was truly spectacular. Even though we stayed during a major storm we couldn't have had a better time on the property and exploring the gardens. Only 20 minutes from town it was still easy to access groceries and restaurants but we felt a world away from city chaos. We would love to visit Magic Cottage again !

The most amazing wee getaway with absolutely incredible views. A great place to unwind and recharge in the quiet. Would absolutely recommend a hot bath under the most incredible night sky of stars.

I had the most incredible weekend stay at Mahina Treehouse in Mangawhai. The space is absolutely stunning and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect escape to explore Mangawhai. The entire space felt so peaceful and private also great to have the Pizza Oven and Spa. Kiki was a wonderful host — clear communication and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

Check-in was super smooth and the place was all set up for us when we arrived. The cabin was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed, really well set up. The hot pool was a definite highlight, perfect for a soak at the end of the day. 😍❤️ Such a peaceful spot to relax. Would totally come back 🥰🥰🥰

We had a wonderful two days staying in Kapia Lodge. Manu's communication, brilliant booklet and photos really heightened our anticipation and everything more than lived up to our expectations. Every detail has been considered for relaxation, calm, and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The shower and robes were amazing (where can we get our own?), the spa overlooking the water was ideal at the end of a day walking to the lighthouse. The stars were beautiful. We hope this will not be the last time we come to enjoy this gorgeous part of New Zealand, and any future getaways elsewhere will be compared to this one! Thank you so much.
