Our second trip back! Just the most relaxing place to be, with fantastic sea views. Andrew is a very polite and helpful host. The place has everything you need. Oven, cooktop, grilled plus Weber bbq accompanied by a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and lovely comfy bed. The covered deck is the spot to be! So very relaxing. See you on Trip 3! Beautiful spot, hard to explain in words how incredibly peaceful and special this spot is. We booked last minute to get away from the city and Linda was so helpful, highly communicative and it was better than we were expecting. We are also very grateful that we could take our dog, I’m pretty sure it was her idea of heaven!

This small cottage was everything we could have asked for, peaceful, beautiful surroundings and helpful, friendly hosts. The location is ideal most of Northland, including the Cape, East and West coasts. We would have no hesitation in going back when we next visit New Zealand, we left with still much to see and do. If you are staying over a weekend, the Kerikeri market on a Saturday morning is not to be missed.

Simply fabulous venue for a reunion with 10 special friends. Peaceful with all amenities, steeped in Glorit family history. Ample walking opportunities and close to the spectacular Gibbs Farm Sculptures. Lots of love and laughter was had amongst the perfect setting with perfect weather.

I recently stayed 5 nights at Rangiputa Retreat. Steve and Vanessa were the most thoughtful, caring and hospitable hosts I've ever stayed with. From Vanessa dropping around eggs, muffins, oranges, battered fish, and sashimi, to Steves help with getting a snapper smoked, his great yarns and local fishing knowledge, that proved really helpful, and lending his surfcaster to my mate.Just awesome Kiwis and im glad to have met them. So thats the cherry on top of what was already a cracking great place to stay. Ideal for 2 or 3 fishing buddies to stay in what is an exceptional central location, to find a sheltered fishing pozzie no matter the weather. The kitchen had everything I needed, and it was nice that it was easy to keep clean. The bed was super comfy after a long day on the water. I've been coming to Karikari Peninsula for many years and finding this gem of a place has made my trip. Till next time.

Gorgeous little cottage with everything you need for your stay, very clean, games for the kids and warm and cosy with the wood fire and electric blankets! Great communication with the hosts, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Superb little apartment - glorious view of sunrise over sparkling water. Sailboats bobbing on their tethers, cheeky air and land birds feeding and calling in the gardens at the edge of the deck. Comfy chairs positions with plenty of cushions and lap blankets to make the most of the setting evening sun on our backs. Bed was extremely comfortable, lovely bedding. Bathroom clean, spacious and very well appointed. Great BBQ, good 2 burner cooker, oven looked good but we didn’t use on this visit. Apartment was stuffed to bursting full of goodies to make use of - every drawer and the fridge filled with every implement/condiment/sauce/spice you might want to use. Manon and Neville were very generous, attentive hosts - thank you.

Wow. The Retreat certainly ticks all the boxes. Wonderful views over 2 stunning beaches. Amazing separate viewing deck with sun loungers to soak up the sun whist looking at that view. Luxury fixtures and fitting including thick fluffy towels and crisp white bed linen. Comfy beds and pillows Kitchen with all the kit to self cater including proper coffee machine. Quality outside sofas with thick cushions. 2 identical very private bedrooms with fly screens so the air flows at night, keeping the rooms cool and own large en suite bathrooms. Responsive friendly host. Best Airbnb we have stayed in for attention to detail. Thank you Angela

Comfortable bedroom with a warm duvet, heater, and hot water. Everything was clean. Shane and his family were kind and friendly. We had a fun marshmallow time, and his wife Kiki showed us the beautiful Milky Way. Great value for the price! I recommend this place if you can sleep late or don’t mind some music at night.

We (myself, hubby, 11 year old) wanted a beautiful, peaceful spot that we could relax in and Deb's place really delivered. We loved the countryside setting that was so quiet, the cosy comfy beds, the fully equipped kitchen and the games room - we spent many happy hours playing pool! The location was fantastic, rural yet so close to Matakana. Deb and Anto were great hosts, very responsive. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely 2 night stay - quiet, private and tranquil with beautiful views of rolling hills and paddocks. Kelly is an excellent communicator and swift to assist. Everything is as described; the listing descriptions are well-crafted with honesty and integrity. Happy to have found this place and would recommend to others!

We loved our stay. The accomodation is tucked away and private,very warm and comfortable. It was amazing waking up to the view of green fields and citrus trees. The beds were comfy, the house was warm and Ingrid is an amazing and very responsive host. would definitely recommend staying here

The stay at Rose's place in Mangawhai was incredible. Absolutely perfect for a couples getaway. There are lots of awesome restaurants very close but the property itself still feels tucked away, peaceful and private. The outdoor space was so lovely and we really made the most of it with the outdoor bath and fireplace, everything was setup so nice and I could really tell that there was care put into the space.

Great spot on the hill with views down to the caves, well set up and the deck overlooking the fruit tree was really nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vinkal’s place! The accommodation was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Vinkal was an excellent host, warmly welcoming us and giving us a tour of their beautiful garden, which made the experience even more special. We also made use of the BBQ, with all the necessary equipment already provided. The whole stay exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend Vinkal’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway! 10/10

The Barn is a huge guest room, very well maintained and clean and the surroundings is beautiful. It is a perfect farm stay experience!

Second time I have stayed here. A nice relaxing place in the country. Perfect for a get away. Having a washing machine and dryer is always a bonus. Chocolates on arrival, a welcome treat. I found the bed perfect for my liking. Will be back again, as good location for day trips up to Bay of Islands and other surrounding areas.

We had a great stay at Ad's place - we definitely felt the Bali vibes! From the deck you can enjoy a great view of the ocean or have a great time inside with the pool table and darts. We highly recommend Ad's place!

Hattie was great to work with and very kind. The house pets were also very cute and sweet. The view from the property is amazing as well! Great little place for a weekend getaway and the nearby towns were great for exploring. Hattie kept us informed of everything was available for anything we needed.
