Absolutely loved staying at Sheenah's, the perfect spot for a solo dive weekend. This was a safe, cosy and gorgeous studio and I can't wait to come back.

Beautiful location overlooking Doubtless Bay. Expansive water views. Back from the road so almost no noise. Slept with the windows open to the crashing of the waves. The unit we booked was a one bedroom. Plenty of space. Good kitchen. Ate breakfast on the balcony. Highly recommend this place. The stock photo on the listing does not do justice to how great this place is. This place is actually a number of units so they will assign you one of the units so perhaps that is why there is just a stock photo.

The apartment is in a great location with excellent views and in a peaceful location. It is well stocked with all the essentials for a long or short stay. Mark was able to give excellent recommendations for a day trip north and for local beaches. We stayed with our family and would highly recommend. It was lovely listening to the ocean and seeing the ever changing scenery. Local shop is 10min walk just along the beach and carries bread and milk, the essential ice cream, great food and takeaways and some great locally produced items.

We had the most wonderful weekend! Nick & Jasmine had thought of everything! The place was spotless and had all the things you need so thoughtfully put together. Such a stunning spot in the bush - the hot tub was divine! They were so responsive to messages & all the instructions were so easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your wee slice of paradise - we hope to be back soon!

Place was lovely and clean, quality bedding and nice beds. King is quite a soft bed. Place is easy to find and access just a stones throw from the beach. we didn't get to use the BBQ area much because we stayed in the middle of winter but in the Summer it would be perfect for chilling out. These guys could not be nicer and are amazing at communicating !!! :)

We could not recommend Katharine’s place enough! It is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. We were absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views of Matauri Bay - that you can see from nearly every angle of the home. The home is beautifully furnished inside and out and has everything you need and more. The peace, quiet and privacy of the home make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and the well thought out features of the home such as the outdoor shower. Katharine was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

I loved my stay at this Airbnb! The space was beautifully decorated—so stylish and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to explore the area. I slept so well thanks to how serene the neighborhood was. The host Karen and Craig were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had a fantastic experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, chic retreat. Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

This place is fantastic - we were 2 couples staying for 2 nights as part of a trip to Cape Reinga. It is definitely the only place of its kind in this area, and we loved having a super modern yet cosy base for our road trip. It is fully equipped to cook meals, do laundry and have an evening in, and the beds and living area are very comfortable. Lindsay was a very communicative and friendly host, and we found it very easy to find and access. There’s a store and a restaurant close by so you don’t feel too secluded, but still benefit from the privacy and peace of being on a private lot with plenty of nature around. Highly recommend this super cool, unique and comfortable stay for your next trip to Northland! Thank you Lindsay!

Absolutely beautiful spot right on the beach. House was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for our 12 guests. Loved the bedroom above the garage as an extra space for kids to play, and also the easy access to the beach was perfect for the kids to play while we could watch them from the deck. Cool to see weka birds wandering around the area too!

We only stayed a night during our trip, but Allan has been so great with us, always available to help. Great place and great people !
