"The Great Entertainer" lives up to its name! We stayed for a month and had family and friends visit throughout our stay. The home was incredibly comfortable and offered endless entertainment. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a gas BBQ and an extra propane tank, made cooking homemade meals a breeze. The game room was a blast, filled with plenty of board games, cards, puzzles, and a fantastic DVD collection. After long days on the slopes, the clean, hot tub with powerful jets was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house was exactly as described, with accurate photos—though they didn’t capture the added perks of a covered carport and a secure outdoor ski closet. Plus, the location couldn’t be better—just 5 minutes from the village, casinos, and Heavenly California Lodge. Taylor was an exceptional host, providing clear instructions and responding quickly to any questions. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was essential for our work-cation. Hope to be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Meghan and Matt's Casita. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Both hosts were super helpful, and the location in Incline Village was very beautiful and quiet. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to travel to North Lake Tahoe!

Staying at Greg and Chris’s place felt like coming home. Their design choices matched my own so closely—it was amazing. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, with everything I could possibly need, from spices in the kitchen to perfectly placed outlets for working comfortably anywhere in the house. I never imagined a remote desert retreat could be so rejuvenating, but it was exactly what I needed. Spending a month here was my best decision. Sunrises and sunsets were healing, and the morning light flooding the living room between 6:50 and 7:40 was breathtaking—perhaps the most beautiful sight I’ve ever seen. The house is perfect for both work and relaxation. Drinking coffee as golden winter sunlight streamed in felt magical. This home is a true sanctuary. If I ever need solitude, peace, and an aesthetic that feeds my soul, I would return in a heartbeat. Greg and Chris have created something truly special, and I’m deeply grateful for the experience.

Lisa's garden apartment was perfect for my one month stay in Bishop. It matched the photos and description, was very clean and comfortable, and the back yard in particular was a wonderful addition. The kitchen was well-supplied for cooking (especially the spices!) and communication with Lisa was very good. One thing to be aware of is that the couch/futon is a bit short for an adult to sleep on; it's best for a child. I highly recommend Lisa's apartment if you're staying in the Eastern Sierras.
