Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Northern California

We had a lovely stay. Comfortable, pleasant backyard, cool kitchen, and very nice bathroom and bathtub! I appreciated the electric candles and the bath tray. Made a stressful time a little more relaxing. Thank you!

Really charming place-- Bigger than it appears in the photos and the front yard is much nicer-- The cabin is in a neighborhood (rather than a lone cabin) with houses a comfortable distance on either side but not unlike a suburban neighborhood-- despite that it feels secluded and the area is very rustic with great hikes and great little towns-- The place was comfy and well maintained and had a nice relaxed character-- just right for kicking back! I recommend!

This was our second time staying here. It is very comfortable and the location is perfect-close to everything and very walkable. We will be back.

Wonderful house and close to Auburn for the Canyons endurance run. Mars was a great host and communicated really well throughout! House was well stocked and cozy!

We loved our stay. The master bedroom had an incredible view of the ocean and we loved walking our dog around the property down to the cliffs every morning.

This was a lovely house in the arena area and I got to say it was really comfortable, well furnished, and it kind of pretty much everything that my family and I needed for a one night's day. I really thought it was a great value as well given the hotels in the area and a special note that I really loved the mattresses. Good job.

This is the nicest Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in! The house itself is bright and comfortable, but all the cozy touches—like fresh flowers and eggs, dog treats, slippers, robes, and plenty of blankets—made it special. The garden is delightful and the sauna and outdoor tub were lovely.

Our family had another wonderful stay at Helen’s Hideaway, truly a unique family property directly on beautiful Tomales Bay. Meg is helpful and communicative, but, as usual everything went so smoothly and was so well supplied, we had no issues that we needed help with. Thank you for another great spring stay. Next year, we plan to stay longer!

We loved the Sea Escape! It was much more than we imagined, and loved the big grassy area for our dogs to run and play and the beautiful overlook and steps down to the gorgeous, semi private beach! We will definitely recommend to others and come back on our next trip to the nor Cal beaches!

Nice place. Spacious kitchen. Two queen size beds and one single bed. Richard was kind enough to let us use a travel crib for our baby. AC/heater in individual bed rooms were also nice. There were plenty of blankets as well. Walkable to the supermarket and an Indian restaurant (both highly recommended). Felt very safe.

Mike & Eula’s loft is a perfect getaway. The views a location are spectacular. We stayed there with our daughter for Spring Break to rest and relax. The loft has all the conveniences you would ever want. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We recommend bringing your own shampoo and soap, since only one set of small hotel soaps were provided. Being right on Main Street made it easy to explore and shop. The balcony was a great place to eat our home cooked meals Al Fresca . We will definitely be back to enjoy Mendocino and the loft.

Theodore was amazing. No host replied this fast! I was looking for a place at the very last minute but he answered all my questions at like 11 pm, and he was so helpful. I really thank him for that. The interior was really outstanding. 💖 Theodore made sure the place was warm and cozy before I checked in. I had places that didn’t really warm up, but this place.. my God. It gets hot lol I actually had to lower and lower the heat to stay warm! Big TV, comfortable bed, plenty of towels, nice indoor jacuzzi & dry sauna! The jacuzzi was like bubble bath.. 🛀 I don’t know what’s in it, but it made my skin so soft. In summary, if this place is available, you gotta grab it. 😎

It was a delight to stay here! The place is huge, and the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked. Comfy furniture, comfy bed, game room downstairs! My family in town were excited to come up and see the porch on Main St! We need more places like this in Portola, very cute!

Such a hidden gem! This place was even better than expected—just as described and had everything you could possibly think of. Super clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The host was amazing—communicative, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We’ll absolutely be regulars from now on. Susan was a fantastic host! The property was exactly as described—peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle. She was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

everything was super nice, only thing was the charger didnt work which was very bummed out, but overall house is super spacious and nice, plenty of room for family and friends! mason was helpful & communicative!

This is a truly lovely property with breathtaking views of the vineyard and sunset. The interior is well appointed and spotless. The linens and bedding are sumptuous. There are many fragrant fruit and flowering trees around the pool deck.

We absolutely loved our stay! The owners were responsive and wonderfully communicative. The house is beautifully maintained and everything we expected and way more. The AC was on for us, making unpacking much more pleasant. The beds are super comfortable, and the bedding so soft. The living room was perfect for lounging with our group. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and the BBQ was pristine. Couldn’t imagine a better place to spend a weekend with your nearest and dearest.

Amazing place? Great heated pool, love the house has a lot of stuff and very well appointed and decorated. It has the best palm trees very safe, Our kid loved swimming in the pool. Strongly recommend for any stay! This is our second time here and will come again for sure. Love how the rooms are laid out, bathrooms.

This is my second time at this Airbnb with this group of ladies. We had a total blast both times. Totally peaceful, serene, gorgeous. We love it here. The drive up once you get to the neighborhood is hilariously scary (there’s a small dirt road up a hill) but it was just fine. VERY good vibes here!! And Courtney was great!

We had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The backyard was incredibly clean, private, and perfect for relaxing—definitely one of our favorite parts of the property. The dog park was amazing and our little pup enjoyed a lot! The amenities were thoughtfully provided and covered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also extremely responsive and helpful, which made the whole experience seamless. We especially loved spending evenings by the fire pit—it added such a cozy touch to our trip. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again!
