Holiday rentals with lake access in Nièvre

Well arranged, quiet accommodation. Very good family stay for a weekend in the area. We'll be happy to go back! Don't hesitate to rent this place.

There were four of us occupying 3 bedrooms, two bedrooms on the ground floor and one bedroom upstairs. Please note, access to this room is via the fairly steep staircase, there is no water point or toilet upstairs. Kitchen is well equipped. House is easily accessible, Gabrielle suggested we go see a show which we were very happy with. Overall, we were satisfied with our visit and our stay at Gabrielle's.

Chantal and Alain are very welcoming, give advice on visits. The linen smells very good, it's nice. Only small downside for me, 2 bedrooms in a row, you have to cross the first bedroom to go to the toilet at night, otherwise everything was ok ☺️

Aurélien's house is huge, which is very suitable for two families, as was our case. Everything was perfect: communication beforehand and on site with the owner. Then the kitchen utensils, in large numbers. The accommodation was impeccable in terms of cleanliness, which is particularly appreciable. Finally, the Settons Lake is a beautiful place. Our children had a great time in the water. We also took advantage of the local climbing walls, and a visit to the ancient site of Bibracte. We must also add outdoor games for children: the zip line was a great success. To sum up: a beautiful experience. Thanks!

We had a lovely week surrounded by nature and we will be back without hesitation! The cottage has a lot of charm and perfectly matched our expectations.

Friendly, rustic accommodation. The setting is just splendid. Very quiet place. For a weekend of relaxation and discovery it is the ideal place.

Thank you to the three young girls who welcomed us with kindness and helpfulness, beyond the opening time of the reception. The only shame, for cyclists who travel light, is that towels are not provided. Otherwise it's great!

Context: 2-night pro stay on a weekend. Listing as described. There's nothing missing. Bedroom bedding in very good condition and clean. The apartment was generally very clean. The hosts seem to have taken the few reviews on this subject into account to restore their level of requirement. Effective end-to-end communication (I booked a few hours before my arrival). Very good stay at Guy's, who was friendly and very accommodating! Cute accommodation, perfect for 4 adults, with a very nice terrace on sunny days. Very nice little village. Functional and quiet. I recommend it with pleasure.

Chantal and Nigel were great hosts. Very kind, friendly and generous. On hand to help with recommendations. Great location and very peaceful. Had a lovely cycle along the canal and river. Very welcome to have air conditioning in the heat.

Absolutely true to the photos, the Tempera offers all the comfort, space, functionality and calm we can hope for. It has been cleverly renovated, with taste and originality and offers privileged access to the surrounding nature. Beyond the cottage, curious minds will discover Isabelle's generous and flamboyant world. Getting to meet this bright and authentic artist and host is the kind of experience from which you don't quite get the same. Each of us, adult or child, will keep a great memory of the moments shared with Isam and its cheerful troupe!

We did a 2-day stop at Liudmillia's place on the banks of the Allier. Very pleasant, clean and quiet cottage. There is all the minimum necessary for the stay, coffee, tea were waiting for us upon arrival. Plenty of opportunities for walks nearby in an unspoiled environment. We really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Liudmilla's place for a multi-day visit or for a stopover.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rogers lovely cottage. The house has been very tastefully renovated and indeed the photos on the website do not do it justice! We felt very much at home in this very clean and well-equipped house with all the home comforts. Roger made sure our stay was no hassle with clear and helpful instructions. He answered quickly to all our messages. Thanks for a lovely few days in such a peaceful and calm setting.

Lovely place - very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful gardens and places to relax. Yves and Christine are always available to help if needed but also respect guest privacy. Great bike rides in the area and Clamecy is a sweet town; also recommend Dijon and Auxerre for visiting.

The place was in a great location. The restaurant and bakery were within a 5-minute walk. Nigel is very accommodating with our arrival schedule and he had prepared the jacuzzi for the same day. Beyond his very functional and very well-equipped accommodation, Nigel is a very interesting and very friendly person. We recommend this beautiful place to unwind from everyday life. A big thank you again to Nigel!
