The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Peaceful and quiet oasis in the Morvan

Beautiful rustic house, with 1 ha of land, a pond (very often dry), and many trees. 7 bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a group such as several families, or for wellness seminars (poor Wi-Fi and 4G connection). We no longer accept parties and birthdays for adults; it disturbs the neighborhood too much. A haven of calm and nature. Places for rejuvenation and creation, but also conducive to interaction. Gîte de La Bascule

The cottage is an old house completely renovated in 2019 with a terrace that offers a beautiful view of the Morvan. It is located very close to Lake Crescent and Chastellux Castle, a few kilometers from Vézelay, Avallon, Bazoches. Our region lends itself to hiking, cycling or horseback riding in unspoiled nature and allows fishing or swimming enthusiasts to indulge in their favorite pastime. La Bascule is a hamlet of Chastellux, located between Avallon and Lormes.

Our Scale

A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

On the island: an enchanting place to "pause"

This master house shares its courtyard with an oil mill in Donzy and its charm will not leave you indifferent. It is majestically situated on the river. We recently renovated it, preserving its authenticity and character, it will be ideal for a few days with family or friends, close to Pouilly and Sancerre, close to the Château de Guédelon. 5 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a friendly living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 beautiful terraces. Isabelle and Denis welcome you to this restored, modernised former farmhouse in the heart of a quiet, typical Nièvre village. This historic house is elevated, offering you an unobstructed view of the countryside. This is an excellent place to stay if you want to explore the Morvan Regional Park, Vézelay, Guédelon and the Canal du Nivernais, as well as various types of museums. We allow a maximum of two pets per booking.
