Angelika was very friendly from the beginning. She was flexible with my request for check-in time. The apartment was exactly as described in the photos, good location, quiet. I could even park my bike in the backyard.

We spent a wonderful, relaxing holiday in a cozy, tastefully furnished apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and definitely corresponds to the description. Anke is a very warm host and the check-in was extremely straightforward. The location is very good as a starting point for excursions to the Südheide and Hermannsburg can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. We have recovered well and thank you for the great stay.

The apartment was clean and well appointed. In the kitchen, a few water glasses and cups would have to be purchased, the dishes overall are rather diced together. The apartment is located in a large, older apartment block, which is absolutely not noticeable inside, as everything has been new and modern. The proximity to the canal was great for us, but the location is a little further away for visiting downtown. The communication with the co-host was smooth and the key exchange was easy and straightforward. We would come back anytime.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Marianne and Christoph are very kind and helpfull. The apartment is a bit tight for 7 people (for instance not enough room for everyone to sit on the balcony and hard to get around the dining table) but we managed with 4 adults and 3 teenagers.

We had an all-round pleasant stay with Vanessa! The apartment was very well furnished – it really lacked nothing and you can tell that attention to detail was paid here. The location is also great – well connected in terms of transport and yet quiet enough to relax. Vanessa herself was incredibly warm, courteous and always helpful. You feel immediately welcome and in good hands. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back! Thank you very much, dear Vanessa! 🌟

Wonderful apartment, extremely functional and well decorated, in a convenient location, with all the necessary resources for a comfortable and safe stay. The photos and description give a partial idea of the grandeur of this dwelling. Full kitchen, with all the necessary seasonings and a new, state-of-the-art stove/oven. Excellent bathrooms, direct sunlight in the morning and afternoon, clarity in all environments. Access by elevator, wonderful view with the singing of birds and squirrels jumping in the nearby trees. I highly recommend it and congratulate Ben on the beautiful venture.

Our stay at Elke was nice and relaxing. Elke and her husband are very friendly people who know a lot about the area. The garden behind the house is beautiful and we were free to use it. 🪻 The spaces we were allowed to use are well maintained and clean, cozy decorated with oriental details. The location itself is picturesque, it is a small village from which many beautiful villages and towns can be reached. A car is definitely needed for that. But there are several walks in the area if you want. We have had another wonderful yin yoga session from Elke 🧘🏼‍♀️ All in all, we look back on a very successful weekend 🔆✨

We were allowed to stay in a beautiful apartment that was equipped with everything you need! Everything was very clean and the beds super comfortable. Unfortunately, only the Wi-Fi was not so good. We wanted to work from home in the accommodation, which was unfortunately hardly possible.

Beautiful, well equipped apartment in a very quiet environment. I felt very comfortable Communication with Martin worked out great. Everything straightforward and fast.

Bettina Is a super involved hospitable and friendly hostess. Her home is spacious, super neat and very comfortable. Anything you need is present. Then there is her beautiful garden, which we (and certainly our children) enjoyed very much. It is a top location where you can completely unwind and a place where you can enjoy all the beauty around you!

We spent a week, the four of us, at the Restehof. The building is old, but the apartment exudes a lot of charm and is very well equipped. It is a paradise for small children who like to be outside. Communication with Anneliese was quick and simple. She informed us of everything necessary by email and we also had a short time to talk in person on the last day. We'd love to come back if the opportunity arises. Best, Fabian, Laura and kids!

This house was perfect. We loved the patio area and watching the boats on the river and It was so peaceful we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for letting us stay. The next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here

Very nice, tasteful and thoughtful decor. High-quality and lavishly equipped kitchen. The house offers a lot of space and at the same time privacy with the spacious all-round garden. Beautiful open architecture with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows facing the garden. We felt very comfortable.

Great amenities and perfect house for a few days with friends at the lake:) However, the whirlpool was not clean when we arrived and we might have wanted a grill lighter, Nevertheless, we had a very nice time

We were with the family for an extended weekend in Jan's beautiful house. He welcomed us kindly, showed us the house and gave us information about the area. He renovated the house himself and furnished it with an incredible attention to detail. It's like a museum, there are little things to discover everywhere. A true paradise for art lovers! There are toys for young and old, endless space and the place around it is worth a walk. The bell tower right next door scares you the first time, but after that you hardly notice it. From the chair, you can watch the storks, so even bad weather in Jan's house is super bearable. We will be happy to come back, it was great.

We (4 adults) felt completely comfortable. The house is cozy and clean and equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the peace and tranquility on the terrace and in the garden. The Steinhuder Meer invites you to many activities in the immediate vicinity. The contact with Dorit was very good and uncomplicated. In a nutshell: it was wonderful and we would love to come back. Thank you so much for everything!

Dear Bea, Dear Romke, The stay with you was great and we felt very comfortable. Especially nice was Bea's mill tour, the chat with Romke, the apple pie, the walking tips, how sweet she became with the children, the great telescopes and just 🙂 YOU read it. Very nice location, right on the Steinhuder Meer! The apartment was very nice, it had everything I needed and looked exactly as it did in the photos. Check-in went very well. However, I find €60.00 for final cleaning a bit much for the small apartment.

Sara's attic apartment is very cozy and tastefully decorated with fully equipped kitchens. Beautiful residential area in a quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the Mittelland Canal. Sara is a very nice hostess who took great care of herself.

A very clean, top furnished apartment with large balcony and more spectacular views of the Steinhuder Sea including sunsets. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our little break

The apartment is just great and Kim is a very good host. She maintains friendly, good contact and was very accommodating for a little later checkout. Thanks for everything! The apartment is practical and lovingly designed. Wifi, Bluetooth speaker, kitchen equipment: Everything you need. I especially liked the crass view, the cozy furnishings (large sofa, plenty of space, lots of light, nice veranda for breakfast or evening view). The house looks quite ailing downstairs - in the apartment you are in another world. The park across the shore is also nice. Downtown is great by public transport and also within walking distance. Nice neighbors in the house.
