Very close to the Mariensee monastery on the Leine, we offer a guest house overlooking the Leine. The old ferry house in Basse forms the foundation of the property. The country garden with pool and wooden terrace combines everything into a unique spot where you can just relax. We also offer our guests the opportunity to book a canoe tour or go fishing. I offer a nice 2-room apartment in Nordstemmen in a rural location. Separate entrance to home. There are many shopping opportunities nearby. The train station is only a 7-minute walk away from there, and you can be in Hanover within 16 minutes. Nearby is also Marienburg Castle, which is great for walking and sightseeing. Garden with trampoline, swing, hammock and pool can also be used.

Vacation apartment on the farm

Our apartment is located on the upper floor of our farmhouse from 1935 and consists of 2 bedrooms with three beds (2x single bed, 1x king size), a living room with sofa bed, a dining room, kitchen and daylight bathroom with bathtub. Since it is an apartment in the countryside, there are of course also some flies and mosquitoes. A bottle of mosquito spray is therefore not a bad companion.

Depending on the season you have the choice to swim, to enjoy the sauna, or just chill sitting by the cosy wood burning stove in the lodge. Hiking trails start directly behind the BLH and a restaurant with a beer garden is 800m behind the BLH.
